Example does not sufficiently explain how it applies, Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* Chapter 470, [[spoiler:Rukia]] and [[spoiler:Riruka's]] fight. It didn't start out particularly silly, but when [[spoiler:Rukia starts monologuing ''while still inside the stuffed animal,'']] it becomes impossible to take it seriously. The CatSmile just cinches it. NOT helped by the anime rendition. What the HELL, Studio Pierrot.

* Tousen's first words after he uses his [[spoiler:resurrection]] are already hard to take seriously. The anime decides to make his voice high-pitched when he says them. Seriously, one almost expects him to shout [[WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove "HELP ME, HELP ME!"]]

* The ending song for most of the Soul Society arc "Happy People" by Skoop on Somebody. The song itself is alright; it's fun, it's happy, it's chill, laidback, and the ending sequence features our characters just chilling and having fun. The problem is what leads up to it. For an example, during the infamous scene where [[spoiler:Ishida vows to kill Kurotsuchi]], the episode ends before a truly gruesome battle would commence. After the fade to black? [[MoodWhiplash du du dun dun dun ''"Happy People!"'']]

Added DiffLines:

** The anime's English dub fixes this giving his aspect as Senescence, the direct translation of his ability "Senescencia" and a scientific term for natural aging that sounds more impressive.
