** Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold seems to be a very corrupt, cowardly (in a socially and environmentally stigmatized sense), and broken INFP anti-hero/anti-villain. He exhibits many traits of an unhealthy INFP with unhealthily overdeveloped dominant introverted feeling, and underdeveloped auxiliary extraverted intuition to the point where he just listens to his internal fears and keeps them all in to the point where he can become selfish and doesn't gather enough good data for his decision making process with his Ne and look at the big picture. Thus, he uses guilt manipulation, tells half-truths, and doesn't always know what to do in times of facing emotional distress and conflict with others. Rumple's extroverted intuition does emerge, however, in the sense that he is an extreme perfectionist who is highly dedicated to those he loves more than anything, yet his chronic addiction to dark power partially influenced by the curse and partially influenced by his own fears never leave him totally satisfied with the good things he already has in his life and he is always envisioning a future for himself and those he loves where he can have it all; true love, power, acceptance, and the ability to be a hero. Rumple's introverted feeling, however, with his many insecurities and fears is so overdeveloped that all he can ever foretell is gloom and doom with the good life that he already had with Belle right in front of him. He couldn't believe it, and it made Belle push him away.

He often employs battling strategies that makes use of his Pokemon's greatest strengths, regardless of how unorthodox they may be. He's willing to try anything new he comes across, and no matter how many times he fails, he's willing to get back up and try again.

He prefers to meditate with few or no others, in relative quiet, objectively peering into what The Force has to offer him. The vast amounts of time he has spent mediating various conflicts were spent coming to rational, agreeable conditions rather than continued fighting in most cases.

* Robert Lutece of ''VideoGame/BioShockInfinite'' is a scientist who is largely seen around his twin [[spoiler:(though more alternate self)]] Rosalind. Unlike his twin, he holds a more optimistic view that one can travel through dimensions and change the outcome, [[spoiler:even trying to undo his arranged kidnapping of Booker [=DeWitt=]'s daughter]].
* Vincent Valentine from ''VideoGame/{{Final Fantasy VII}}'', the recluse who pops in and out mysteriously, and chooses quiet solitude and contemplation over action and interaction has been typed an INTP and fits the description well. He's quiet, independent, reserved, serious, and perceived as "cold" due to his aloof nature. He only ever participates when circumstances give him no choice, when it's the only sensible and right thing to do. He also contemplates topics like what it means to be human, and displays a propensity for philosophy.
* ''VideoGame/{{Metroid}}'' presents its main protagonist, Samus Aran. Introversion is quite obvious; she has an unhealthily large preference for solo operation brought about by lack of human contact. A skilled engineer, he has designed and built many unique and innovative creations. He can devolve into technobabble and be rather untactful.

He is usually lazy, but under certain circumstances in the game, it is revealed that he is an extremely intelligent quantum physicist, and also probably has a permanent existential crisis.

His leadership style of "pulling the strings" is quintessential [=xNTP=], and although his status as resident RenaissanceMan and GadgeteerGenius would suggest he's an ENTP, his predilection for independence and stoicism indicate he is an INTP, although with highly developed extroverted intuition.

* Dipper Pines of ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'' can easily qualify as an INTP. Although he is in many ways a [[PolarOppositeTwins polar opposite]] to his sister Mabel, he still shares her creativity (N) and curiosity (P). Erratic, unpredictable behavior, bombastic and comical presentation, and an apparent inability to take what he does seriously complete the package.
* The Eponymous ''ComicBook/{{Deadpool}}''. Though very loosely falling into the "Rational" temperament because of mental issues, The Merc with a Mouth is very much ENTP. Besides the fact that he is a very extroverted individual and the fact that because of his mental state his perception of reality is more than just a little funky, Deadpool has shown that he is capable of understanding big picture issues (such as the murder fest that is Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe) as well as being a very creative strategist, doing a lot of things completely on the fly.

* Dr. Emmett Brown from ''Franchise/BackToTheFuture'' is an innovative, creative, confident, bright, enthusiastic genius, likes to conceptualize from experience, is careless despite his brilliance, and is highly adaptable to situations.
* Creator/RogerMoore's portrayal of ''Film/JamesBond'' contrasted himself from Creator/SeanConnery's Bond by being a major Trickster, frequently indulging in mind games with his foes, lulling them into a false sense of control [[ObfuscatingStupidity by playing nicer than he really was]], as his many cold-blooded executions across his movies proves.
* Agent J from ''Film/MenInBlack'' was selected by the MIB because he's an excellent lateral thinker able to see the forest when everybody else is focused on the trees, and is usually able to make logical leaps that even experienced MIB agents like K might miss. And he can beat aliens in a foot race and punch some of them out.
* Jack Sparrow from ''Franchise/PiratesOfTheCaribbean'' is famous for being confident, witty, opportunistic, more than capable of thinking out of the box and often motivated by self-interest, all of which mark him as an ENTP.

However, she is extremely passionate about whatever she puts her mind to, to an almost unhealthy extent, and would take any steps necessary to ensure the world doesn't go to hell, no matter what it costs her personally. He may lack understanding when it comes to humans due to his sheltered (or, more like deliberately isolated and brainwashed) upbringing, he shows an extreme amount of sympathy and empathy for Pokémon, who he had been taught are being mistreated by trainers, and strongly believes in his mission of liberating them. While he seems like an INFJ at first due to his devotion to his cause, and his initial denial to accept the possibility that he might be wrong, he then starts to doubt what he had been taught and by the end of the first game he resolves to be more open-minded and see the world, leaving behind years of mental programming in the process. However, it should be noted N also has quite a few traits of an INTP as well, due to his high understanding and love of mathematics, equations, and machines, with him often describing things as if they were so, and having a painfully poor grasp of human interaction.

** Anakin Skywalker from the Prequel Trilogy was headstrong and idealistic, with his desires to do what is right often putting him at odds with both the Jedi Council and Obi-Wan, with his short temper frequently getting him into trouble. Unfortunately, this rebellious streak turned to authoritarianism, as he grew disappointed with how ineffectual the Old Republic was becoming, leading him to the Dark Side and becoming the cold, calculating ENTJ Darth Vader.
