* Knuckles the Echidna, introduced in ''VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles'', is a rather dutiful sort, caring only for his responsibility for, and clan's tradition to, protect the Master Emerald.

* Elsa from ''Disney/{{Frozen}}'' is an ISTJ who is stuck in a Si-Fi loop for most of the time in the film. She is crippled by the fear of the future of hurting her sister or anyone else (inferior Ne), lets her past define her greatly, and subscribes to the same routine of isolating herself after running away from Arendelle (dominant Si). While dutiful and protective of her sister, she is straight to the point when disapproving Anna's decision of getting married (extraverted thinking).

* Officer Judy Hopps from ''Disney/{{Zootopia}}'' is extremely empathetic, compassionate and protective (Fe), and wants to make a career of these traits. She has an eidetic memory and relies much more on past precedent to guide her than she does on her gut instinct (Si).

* Riku from ''Franchise/KingdomHearts'' is a textbook AloofBigBrother to Sora and Kairi despite being only a year older than them, and he's the [[FreudianTrio superego to Kairi's ego and Sora's id.]] His goal in life is to explore the world outside the tiny islands he calls home and to be strong enough to protect his friends from whatever he finds out there. He's the only one of the trio to actually have a plan for leaving the island while Kairi is busy dragging Sora into [[FetchQuest running errands for them]]. However, the few times he acts on intuition instead of experience, [[DealWithTheDevil it ends badly for him]] and he spends most of the series learning from and making up for that mistake. In ''Chain of Memories'' his dark powers include the ability to [[TheNoseKnows "smell"]] darkness in others, and he's observant enough to notice when the "Ansem" who's been guiding/tormenting him for most of his side the game isn't who he seems to be. He's the [[RedOniBlueOni exact opposite]] Myers-Briggs type from Sora (an ENFP), but when they're [[BashBrothers working]] [[YinYangBomb together]], nothing, not even a [[PhysicalGod Kingdom-Hearts-empowered Xemnas]], can stop them.

[=ISTJ=] Inspectors are careful and thorough in examining people and institutions. They are decisive in practical affairs. These sentinels of institutions are perhaps best described as dependable: Inspectors are people of their word, intent on preserving social and family values. At home and at work, Inspectors reliably examine the people and products that fall under their tutelage -— unobtrusively ensuring uniform quality and demanding that certain standards of conduct are maintained.

* Kiyotaka Ishimaru of ''VisualNovel/DanganRonpa'' is almost stereotypically ESTJ - his title of Ultimate Moral Compass betrays his love & strict observance of rules (dominant Te), coupled with a good memory and a fondness for nitpicking details from his auxiliary Si. He apparently finds it incredibly difficult to make friends, most likely due to his thoroughly underdeveloped Fi and brusque manner.

* ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'': Yellow Diamond is a heavy Te user, from her frequent hand gestures to her business-like manner of speaking. Before anything else, she seems to weigh all things by their relative usefulness and values efficiency and expediency. She doesn’t really see the point in attachment out of pure sentimentality though she very much ''has'' it. Yellow is more an enforcer than a planner, in which it's implied that she leaves much of the long-term planning to her underlings ("an army has a use, they can go and fight a war/a Sapphire has a use, she can tell you what it’s for!") - something that would speak of really low rather than high Ni, and she doesn’t really display curiosity for its own sake at any point, neither during the trial nor when she shoots down Peridot's alternate plan without even listening to it. She’s pragmatic, action-oriented and won’t listen to "far-fetched" talk; an overall zero patience for bullshit. When trying to convince Blue Diamond to stop moping and do her job, Yellow simply argues that its their duty as Diamonds and that the system needs its leaders to function. Though Yellow is one of Homeworld’s rulers and surely has the bossy attitude to match, she just performs her role like everyone else and upholds the system. In general, Yellow Diamond is the opposite of Blue Diamond (INFP) on the Fi/Te axis.

* Agent 47 from ''VideoGame/HitmanBloodMoney'' he is very introverted almost to the point of being autistic but his rigid training regimen force fed him knowledge about social cues. 47 is strategic and can improvise on the fly but mostly he falls back on his extensive training. He holds himself to an absolute standard case in point his moniker as a Silent Assassin his attire and his choice of weapons . If you call on his services nothing will stop him so you better be sure when you call the Agency.

* DonaldDuck. He's ever dutiful and extremely over-protective toward his nephews. He doesn't like trying anything new until he's thoroughly investigated it, and falls back on several familiar habits because they're "safe," even if they're not profitable or practical. He's very good at playing both parents to his nephews despite his bad luck in the job market. And he acts as the one who keeps Scrooge [=McDuck=] grounded during their adventures.

* Toriel from ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'' was the queen of the monsters who left her husband, King Asgore, after being upset about the lengths he was going to break the seal and ensure his kingdom returns to the surface. As such, when a human child falls into the chasm, she takes them under her wing, and after having a few of them die after running off, she employed whatever methods necessary to make sure it doesn't happen again with the protagonist.

** Zhu Li Moon also qualifies, being quiet, dutiful, hard-working and extremely devoted/loyal to Varrick, taking her job very seriously and skillfully avoiding the spotlight. She is a very private individual who has been shown to bottle up her emotions until they get the better of her, and up until that moment, she often let others walk all over her, most notably her boss. Though calm and practical, she is sensitive to the needs of others, as she has very frequently and consistently been shown to know exactly what Varrick wants her to do despite his vague instructions.

* Marge Simpson ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' the stereotypical housewife and epitome of absolute ESFJ to the nth degree. Marge's is very concerned about social standing and her families well being. She doesn't like chaos or unresolved conflicts to mire life. Traditional to a fault but what she lacks in natural openness she has in abundance a genuine sense of caring and shared affinity.

* Caesar from ''Videogame/FalloutNewVegas'' is a fairly dark example. He created his Legion based around the martial ideals of Ancient Rome, fashions himself as a new JuliusCaesar, and both defends the Legion and attacks the NCR through the use of plenty of historical examples, displaying a strong auxiliary Si that manifests as a [[NostalgiaFilter nostalgia for a bygone era]], and a solid working knowledge of what works and what doesn't. His dominant Te is reflected in both his [[ControlFreak valuing obedience and deference]] from his subjects (read: slaves) to himself and his ideology and his practical, no-nonsense approach to forming his empire and fighting the NCR e.g. rejecting most technology to get himself more stronger, self-reliant troops, [[TheHypocrite but allowing a Howitzer]] to get an edge at Hoover Dam.

* Takeru Shiba from ''LiveActionTV/{{Samurai Sentai Shinkenger}}'' is TheLeader of The team yet he is quite harsh and tactless at first. But He is very organized and effective GeniusBruiser in the team. He is experienced, strict and quite dedicated with his job to get rid the Gedoushu. It is also shown beside how serious he is. He can be a caring leader despite his harsh method, but he try to hide it.

* Sgt. Hans Schultz from ''LiveActionTV/HogansHeroes''. He's warm and nurturing (Fe), with a healthy respect for tradition and regulations (Si).

** Dolores Umbridge from ''Literature/HarryPotter'' was shown by her love of leadership and many harsh rules. Her uptight, lawful personality is common in this type, efficient yet an unhealthy example. Her healthy counterpart would be Minerva McGonagall.

* Sergeant J.R. Craig from 1963's ''TheVictors'' is a practical, rough-edged man who's just trying to keep his troops together and puts on a brave, stoic face to set an example to his men.

** Severus Snape constantly compares his past sensory impressions and experiences in assessing current situations and in making decisions (Si). His past sensory impressions colors his perceptions in the present such as comparing Harry Potter to be very similar in personality to his father, James Potter, based on their visual resemblance (Si-Fi loop). For example, Harry is thought to be an arrogant spoiled boy who disregards the rules because of his place above them by Snape despite Harry being the opposite and disregarding the rules not because of Harry thinking he is above them but because for the sake of saving people from a threat. Furthermore, Snape is direct and logical in approach when interacting with students and teachers without much consideration of their reactions and feelings (Te). He is also able to invent new potion methods that are more effective than accepted established methods that work (Ne), which shows his firm grasp over his inferior function.

** Hermione is introverted to the point of alienation in the first book. She makes decisions based on her [[BadassBookworm extensive reading]] and observational skills, is highly intelligent and thoughtful, and tellingly gives Harry a homework calender for Christmas.
* Katniss Everdeen of ''Literature/TheHungerGames'' is an ISTJ. Her Si-dom enables her to assess information and even trauma with flawless detail. Sentimentality is not her forte (Fi-ter) and prefers to act on survival, producing rapid solutions in the process (Te-aux). Her inferior Ne shows when she has great fear towards the future (such her reluctance to start a family of her own, justified by the world she lives in) and her difficulty to look at the bigger picture, as what Peeta would say she has no idea how her actions would have tremendous effect towards others and everything around her.

* Siobhan Sadler of ''Series/OrphanBlack'' is down to earth, practical, sometimes blunt and acts to protect her loved ones, even if they might not agree.

** Gregory Edgeworth: A lawyer who is well-known for his abilities as a defense attorney, Gregory Edgeworth always approaches his job in a calm, rational, and no-nonsense manner. He values the mutual trust between him and his client, and he is always devoted into proving them innocent if he believes they are. What is most important is his strong sense of integrity, which is shown when he called Manfred von Karma out for falsifying evidence and forcing testimony, resulting in von Karma getting a penalty in his perfect record and Gregory Edgeworth being murdered afterwards. Now only was he a prestigious attorney, he was also a caring father, who would often think about his son Miles, and he influenced Miles into studying law and becoming who he is now.

** Levi is a lone wolf in every sense of the word, performing poorly in a group and doing his best when he's allowed to be in charge. Extremely efficient and orderly and has a low tolerance for nonsense, but readily admits his faults. His speech is very blunt and to-the-point, he has a sharp tongue, and lacks social graces - many people fail to understand him and misconstrue his behavior as heartlessness. Levi is extremely loyal, notably to Erwin, the only person he does trust, because Erwin has proven his dependability and efficiency where it counts.
** Mikasa Ackerman, though shy and carefree as a child, is steadfast and hard to approach. She is blunt and rather stoic, but far more free with her emotions than Levi and is often taken by anger when others get in her way. Also loyal to a fault, often placing herself in danger against all better sense.

** Neji Hyuuga: sticks out like a sore thumb in a team full of extroverted feelers with his guarded demeanour and more pragmatic mindset. His intense grudge against Hinata at the start of the series and related inability to let go of his past (not without reason) also smack of an ISTJ's dominant Si.
