I asked Murphy about the album’s story on Facebook, and he said it’s supposed to be the soundtrack to a movie (possibly about Dr. Light, that part’s still pretty vague) made during the time skip in “How the World Fell Under Darkness.” It supposed to fill in some of the blanks about the time between Light’s exile and “Breaking Out.” He also said the vinyl will contain some extra artwork and liner notes, which will explain how things are connected.
