[[folder:Planet 1999]]
Planet 1999 is a trio consisting of singer/songwriter Caro Maulin, and producers Alexandre and Charles Teiller. The first full band signed onto the label, Planet 1999 explores a distinctly [[TheNineties 90's]]-inspired aesthetic, recalling lush, melancholic sounds of [[{{Shoegazing}} shoegaze]] and lo-fi DreamPop.\\

The trio was first introduced to the label through partnering up with A.G. Cook, doing early production work for Music/CharliXCX for both her 2019 album ''Charli'' and her band Nasty Cherry. By late 2019, the band was officially signed onto PC Music, with their debut EP scheduled for early 2020.

Hannah Amond, professionally known as Hannah Diamond (b. 1991/1992), is a pop singer and visual artist. Introduced to the label and A.G. Cook through GFOTY, she became a mainstay after several hit singles and features, quickly developing her signature identity of mixing over-synthetic and exaggeratedly cutsey "bubblegum hyper-reality" with sincere drama about emotions, relationships and their connection to modern technology.\\

Cook through GFOTY, she became a mainstay after several hit singles and features, quickly developing her signature identity of mixing over-synthetic and exaggeratedly cutsey "bubblegum hyper-reality" with sincere honestly heartfelt drama about emotions, relationships and their connection to modern technology.\\

Added DiffLines:

* AmbiguousGender: A very common trend with the label, and likely [[InvokedTrope an intentional one]]. Due to the synthetic anonymity of several projects while invoking a ton of typically feminine or cutesy imagery in their music, it often results in confusion as to what act is what gender, ''or is even real''.

Added DiffLines:

* CopiouslyCreditedCreator[[invoked]]: PlayedForLaughs with "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36UUyQoYE1s Pop Cube Trailer 2]]" with GFOTY, with ''every'' role being credited as "GFOTY". The cast list credits her as "HERSELF: GFOTY" [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment multiple times]], [[UpToEleven as well as under]] [[AndStarring "ALSO STARRING" and "WITH SPECIAL GUEST" credits]].

Added DiffLines:

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Oddly {{subverted|Trope}} with GFOTY. She initially released music under the title in PC Music's predecessor "pseudo-label" Gamsonite, which was already akin to the post-ironic signature sound she's presently known for, but her first proper release on PC Music itself, "Bobby", is a surprisingly straightforward pop ballad with an unusual amount of sincerity from her. It didn't take long for her to return to form with her ''Secret Mix'', however.
