* AwardBaitSong: Hart and Bonamassa both play for high drama on several songs - two albums worth of (mostly) acknowledged {{soul}} classics probably means leaning that way anyway - but special attention goes to the ten-minute "I'd Rather Go Blind".

* {{Improv}}: Hart alternates between coming up with lyrics and {{Scatting}} during "Antwerp Jam"

* RearrangeTheSong: A natural consequence of playing a few vocal {{jazz}} numbers as rock songs. The two Melody Gardot songs are also slightly tweaked from the album here, played without a string section by necessity.

Following two albums of {{jazz}} and {{soul}} covers, guitarist Joe Bonamassa and singer Beth Hart took to the road in with a "BluesRock Revue". ''Live In Amsterdam'' is a LiveAlbum and ConcertFilm documenting a 2013 show at the Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The majority of both albums are featured, along with Hart's "Baddest Blues".

!! ''Live In Amsterdam'' demonstrates the following tropes:
* AlbumIntroTrack: "Amsterdam, Amsterdam!"
* BluesRock[=/=]{{Soul}}
* BookEnds: The opening "Amsterdam, Amsterdam!" and concluding "Antwerp Jam" are jam sessions on the same riff.
* CoverAlbum: Aside from a [[MinisculeRocking short]] AlbumIntroTrack and a jam session at the end, Hart's "Baddest Blues" is the only original in the set.
* EpicInstrumentalOpener: Bonamassa and the band open "Strange Fruit" with two minutes of a slightly creepy instrumental line before the vocals start up.
* EpicRocking: "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" (7:54) and "I'd Rather Go Blind" (10:02) are the late showstoppers.
* GenreThrowback: This is a sixties soul-rock revue in TheNewTens, with most of the song selection reflecting that era. Bonamassa expressly refers to it as an attempt to capture "a bygone era of reaction and spontaneity"
* {{Improv}}: Hart alternates between coming up with lyrics and {{Scatting}} during "Antwerp Jam"
* LetsDuet: Noticably [[AvertedTrope averted]] - though he has a great deal of experience singing, Bonamassa doesn't contribute any vocals here.
* SomethingBlues: "Baddest Blues"
