This was compared to ''Splatoon 2's'' similar pattern of following up the lighthearted Unicorn vs. Narwhal (or Kid vs. Grown-Up in Europe, or Pineapple vs. No Pineapple in Japan) Splatfest with ''Chaos vs. Order, the [=FinalFest=] of that game.''

** WHY IS THIS ONE SO EXTREME[[labelnote:Explanation]]This Splatfest that explores ''the possibility of the world ending'' follows the relatively lighthearted [=SpringFest=] that just asked what animal everyone preferred. This was compared to ''Splatoon 2's'' similar pattern of following up the lighthearted Unicorn vs. Narwhal (or Kid vs. Grown-Up in Europe, or Pineapple vs. No Pineapple in Japan) Splatfest with ''Chaos vs. Order, the [=FinalFest=] of that game.''

* THE BLEACH IS COMING!!! [[labelnote:Explanation]]With ''Side Order'' DLC of ''Splatoon 3'' being released on February 22, 2024, it became inevitable that Splatpost activity would spike up since the DLC takes place in a bleached version of Inkopolis Square. Visit Inkopolis Square around February, and you'll find countless posts either warning the players of an impeding disaster known as THE BLEACH or mockingly stating that [[TemptingFate they wish nothing bad will happen to their city hub]]. * INK YOUR BASE [[labelnote:Explanation]]Early on in Splatoon 3, players would rarely, if ever, ink their bases, leading to various upsets; this would, in turn, create a deluge of players making posts such as "INK YOUR BASE" and variants thereof. This, hilariously, backfired, as players tried to apply this to other modes where this isn't as important, namely Anarchy Battles.[[/labelnote]]
** TAKE MID FIRST [[labelnote:Explanation]]A more Anarchy Battle-focused variation, where rushing to the objective as fast as possible for an initial push is very important; much more so than just inking base for free points, which can be done easily later on. Also occasionally applied to Turf Wars, though it's a bit less important due to the nature of the mode.[[/labelnote]]
** KILL THE FLYFISH [[labelnote:Explanation]]In a similar vein to "INK YOUR BASE" or "TAKE MID", Due to their unique status as ''the'' most hated Salmonid by a long shot, players would often give joke "advice" for Salmon Run that boils down to taking out the Flyfish as fast as possible. Often combined with the "UNAUTHORIZED FUCKING THING, BLOW IT UP NOW" meme (see the main ''Splatoon 3'' folder) when mentioned outside of the game.[[/labelnote]]

* "Hi John!"[[labelnote:Explanation]]In September 2023, a user named "John" uploaded a post greeting the other players, leading other users to create posts in response saying "hi John" or something similar. John would later make another post thanking everyone for saying hi back to him.[[/labelnote]]
