Seeing this line over and over, some can't help but at least think it was an intentional troll from the localization staff {{Lampshad|eHanging}}ing the frequency with which they show up.[[/labelnote]]

These finned fish have a chance of being a Great White Shark (worth 15,000 bells), a Saw Shark (worth 12,000 bells) or a Whale Shark (worth 13,000 bells). However, it's pretty common for that finned fish to be a Suckerfish, which is worth a comparatively measly 1,500 bells. As with the sea bass and the black bass beforehand, many players may end up catching a lot of Suckerfish while trying to catch either a Great White Shark or a Whale Shark, and as subpar as the selling price of a Suckerfish is, seeing the same message each time you catch one is especially insulting.[[/labelnote]]

** I got a sea anemone! The enemy of my anemone is my afrenome![[labelnote:Explanation]]The deep-sea creature version of the sea bass. It's only worth a mere 500 bells (less than ''seaweed''), and gets incredibly irritating for players trying to find a Scallop for Pascal, or rare things such as pearls, the Gigas Giant Clam, and the Giant Isopod. Thankfully, this one's easier to pick out, given that it's one of only two deep-sea creatures that have the "large" shadow/bubble stream and are completely stationary in the water.[[/labelnote]]
