* In 2023 they quickly rescinded the Worst Actress nomination that 12-year-old Creator/RyanKieraArmstrong got for ''Film/{{Firestarter|2022}}'' after a ton of online critics accused the organization of effectively bullying a young girl.[[note]]The Razzies had nominated underage actors before, such as Creator/GaryColeman at 14, Creator/MacaulayCulkin at 14 and Creator/JakeLloyd at 11, with Creator/JadenSmith (15) and ''Film/OverTheTop'''s David Mendenhall (16) actually winning as well, but didn't receive much blowback when they nominated young ''male'' actors.[[/note]] Wilson released an apology statement and [[ObviousRulePatch instituted a new rule that nominees have to be at least 18]].
