* SurprisinglyGoodEnglish: In Volume 5, Subaru is revealed to be capable of speaking English, having learned it from the Americans that frequented Palais Ganier. [[InformedAbility Given how this is only a manga, we can't be sure just how fluent she is]].
** Takako, who studied at the American Ballet School most likely speaks it, too, and Volume 10 states that Mana speaks fluent English.

* NotSoDifferentRemark: Subaru eventually tells Alexander that the two of them are, overall, not all that different. Their environment is different, yet both have the same style in acting with the people surrounding them. She says that Alex is 'also not really here', mimicking the words he told her initially.
