''Naqua-Den'' is a spin-off manga from ''Manga/PrincessResurrection'', starring Nakua, the spider-deity who was once an enemy to Hime, but eventually allied with her after a few defeats.

* TemporaryBulkChange: At one point Taro wins a rice-eating competition against a gluttonous youkai, only for the enormous of food ingested to prove too much for his super-metabolism. The follow day he becomes fat, but hopefully it turns out their next challenge involve sumo fighting, and Taro's super-strength mixed with his newfound weight is perfect to save the day. He then quickly turns back to his usual thin self after [[spoiler: "taking a big crap"]].

In the present time, Nakua has managed to find Taro, and recruits him into various activities which often sees the two trying to appease and purify various deities who could potentially bring harm to humans.

* InsistentTerminology: Nakua insists on calling Taro "Taro-Maro" since he has her servant in him while he just asks that she call him "Taro". It's something of a RunningGag.

* SealedGoodInACan: Taromaro, the "can" being Taro, which helps him against some of the threats they face.
