* DisappearedDad: Barbara Ann raises Jodio and Dragona as a single mother. Their father is nowhere to be seen.

[[spoiler:But then it turns out the bird actually grabbed an entirely different watch instead, and immediately gets ambushed by Charmingman]].

* TheCaper: At the end of the first chapter, Meryl May Qi assembles a team including Jodio and Dragona to steal a diamond worth millions from a Japanese tourist. The narration implies that the heist doesn't go well.

* CaperCrew:
** Meryl May is both the Mastermind and the Backer, as the one coordinating the group and sending them off to their mission to steal the diamond, as well as supplying them with the information necessary.
** Paco is the Pickpocket, a kleptomaniac whose experience and Stand allow him impossible sleights of hands.
** Dragona is the Fixer, with their multi-purpose Stand allowing them to commit near-perfect forgeries. Their stand also makes them the Safe-Cracker, since their stand can pull locks and they use this to break into a house and to open a locked safe.
** Jodio is the New Kid, as the one with the least experience in the group and thus doesn't have much say in the group's activities. He's also the Muscle, as November Rain is capable of attacking with very powerful raindrops; when a drug deal goes south in the second chapter, his Stand quite easily dispatches the cops while Paco is left helpless.
** Usagi is the Wild Card, a kooky drug user who Meryl May added at the last minute and insists will be a good addition to the team. When they pull off their first heist together, his Stand provides some elements of the Hacker, as it's introduced to screw with a camera and give the team some cover.

* MakingASplash: Jodio's Stand, November Rain, creates very powerful raindrops.

* PresentDay: The first chapter makes references to UsefulNotes/{{COVID|19Pandemic}}, Music/DuaLipa, the Uber rideshare service, and Jodio is seen in the second chapter playing on what appears to be a UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch, all of which are relevant at the time of manga's writing. Paco and several background characters are also shown to use electric scooters.

** Jodio is shown playing on a UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch in chapter 2, as one can discern by its segmented assembly and the volume and power buttons being placed on the top left side of the screen. What makes it a genuinely positive version of the curse is that it's way more controllable than Milagro Man: the rock's owner has to touch the rock to an object of value to cause it to flow to them, and the Lava Rock won't [[BlessedWithSuck slowly bury its owner to death via increasingly large cash sums]]. The comparisons are best summarized by a moment in Chapter 8, where -- similar to Milagro Man's effect -- the Lava Rock causes a string of coincidental occurences to return Dragona's 20 dollar bill through some means.

* AttemptedRape: The first chapter begins with Jodio and Dragona getting pulled over by some {{Dirty Cop}}s, with one insistent on patting Dragona down as a cover for molestation, and the other cop enabling his groping. It gets even worse when the cop feels Dragona's penis after assuming they were a biological girl and saying that [[DepravedBisexual it makes things even better]], with him only being stopped by Jodio's interference using November Rain, to which the other cop was ready to shoot Jodio if he didn't sit back and let his brother get molested.

* DepravedBisexual: When a cop feels up the thong of Dragona's bikini while patting them down, he feels their genitals after previously assuming them to be a biological girl, and claims that this has, "just gotten better." He also threatens to rape Jodio in the second chapter.

* PervyPatdown: One of the cops sexually assaults Dragona during the search. Initially assuming them to be a biological female, finding out they have a penis [[DepravedBisexual makes him all the more happier with it.]]
