''Heaven's Lost Property'' is a fantasy {{harem|genre}} manga created by Suu Minazuki (who previously wrote ''Manga/WatashiNoMessiahSama'') which ran in ''Monthly Shonen Ace'' from 2007 to 2014. It was adapted to two anime seasons and two movie releases. The anime's first season aired in the fall of 2009, and the second, ''Heaven's Lost Property forte'', in fall 2010. The first movie, ''The Angeloid of Clockwork'' (about half CompilationMovie), was released June 25, 2011, with the sequel ''Eternal My Master'', released on April 26, 2014.

* AdaptationInducedPlotHole: [[spoiler: Unlike in the manga, Hiyori dies at the end of ''The Angeloid of Clockwork'', only to show up again in ''Eternal My Master''.]]

** Episode 10's dub has an accidental one to ''Manga/{{BECK}}'', what with Tomoki and Eishiro on guitar in the band and all (Tomoki even gets to do some singing, though he's definitely worse than Koyuki).

* AnythingThatMoves: As long it's a Bishonen or big boobed cutie, Tomoyo Sakurai, aka Tomoki's mother, will willingy jump their bones.

* BoobsOfSteel: Astraea, the Angeloid with the biggest bust, is also the best fighter (melee combat specialist) of the Angeloids, even when compared to Ikaros who is slightly smaller. Equal to Astraea is Sohara, which has a MegatonPunch (main character says she has the biggest breasts in the country). Next is Mikako, with a FacePalmOfDoom (her Finishing Move as a wrestler. Nymph calculates it deals 400 kilos per square inch). Oregano isn't a combat angeloid, but she has access to ridiculous firepower, thanks to her master being a Yakuza Princess. Nymph is an A-Cup because she is an "electronic warfare angeloid" that has minimal fighting ability.

* WeWillMeetAgain: Inverted in episode 5 of ''Forte'', Eishiro mimics a certain WWII general of the Pacific (UsefulNotes/DouglasMacArthur in case you don't know), complete with his signature phrase "[[SurprisinglyGoodEnglish I shall return]]".

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: Tomoki occasionally hits Icarus (and even Astrea) on the head when they cause a lot of trouble for him. Like destroying parts of his house or flushing him down the sewer.

* FlexibleTourneyRules: Averted. Ikaros gets disqualified immediately when she uses homing lasers in a wrestling tournament.

* CantActPervertedTowardALoveInterest: Ikaros is about the only girl that Tomoki ''won't'' act perverted toward; in fact, he actively rebuffs her advances when she tries to come onto him. (He also won't act perverted towards Nymph, but that's because she's [[BuxomIsBetter not his type]], a source of [[ACupAngst considerable angst]].) This trope is backed up with [[spoiler:Tomoki's confession to Ikaros in chapter 53.]]

It starts light-hearted enough until YakuzaPrincess Mikako turns it into SeriousBusiness and a BattleOfTheBands against Sorami Academy -- a Private School full of stuck-up jerks. The arrogant rich kids set up an orchestra of ClassicalMusic and play the "New World" symphony. Meanwhile, the kids of Soramy School have a fumbling song that Tomoki purposefully messes up -- it's called "Nipple, Nipple Big Nipple!", what did you expect? And then proceed to perform the real song. The new arrangement has RobotGirl and [[TheAce ace]] Ikaros on the vocals, Nymph (another RobotGirl) on the keyboard, ArtificialHuman Mitsuki on the drums, AxCrazy Mikako on the electric guitar, DitzyGenius Sugata on the bass, and DirtyKid Tomoki on the classical guitar.
