An AnimatedAdaptation of the manga by Creator/JCStaff began in April 2021, with Creator/{{Netflix}} acquiring rights to stream the series internationally in August the same year. Currently, a single season of 25 episodes, covering up through the Sun Jewel arc, has been completed and aired. A second season began airing in April 2023, despite the death of Season 1 director Yūshi Suzuki; unlike the first season, global rights to Season 2 are handled by the French distribution company Mediatoon, which handed it off to Website/{{Crunchyroll}} and other companies around the world to allow for weekly simulcasting.
