''Dungeon Toilet'' is a 2018 ''[[TrappedInAnotherWorld isekai]]'' manga by Roots. However, it has less in common with the average ''isekai'' title than titles like ''Manga/DeliciousInDungeon'' or ''Manga/DragonGoesHouseHunting'' -- its focus is less on epic adventure than the mundane details of life in a fantasy world. Except instead of food or shelter, ''Dungeon Toilet'' focuses mainly on matters regarding the porcelain throne.

It's not about ''saving''
the porcelain throne.
new world, it's about ''pooping'' in the new world.

Our hero is Yotaro, an ordinary everyman who is TrappedInAnotherWorld -- of the bog-standard Fantasy RPG variety, naturally -- and is adjusting to his new life as an adventurer. His primary concern in life isn't about saving the world, hoarding its riches, or wooing its women. He just wants to find a clean place to take a crap, and some decent material to wipe his butt with. Everything else is purely a secondary concern.

This being primarily a comedy manga, of course, he ''rarely'' gets his wish.

The manga ended on July 21, 2021. It was serialized in ''Young Champion Retsu'' in Japan, and is licensed for North American release by Creator/SevenSeasEntertainment.

* UnfazedEveryman: Despite being teleported to fantasy world and becoming an adventurer, Yotaro seems to take it all in stride. He worries more about running out of toilet paper than dying in battle.

* JustEatGilligan: Yotaro's weird fixation on passing stool gets his party in trouble more often than not, sometimes to ridiculous extremes. It appears the only reason his companions haven't abandoned or killed him yet is that he ''very occasionally'' comes through for them. Of course, if they were to do that, the manga would effectively end -- Yotaro is the primary source of the manga's humor.
* NewLifeInAnotherWorldBonus: Rather atypically for the ''isekai'' genre, Yotaro hasn't gained any particular special ability or status since coming to the alternate universe. His only remarkable characteristic is his encyclopedic knowledge of toilets, that is -- and that just as often proves a liability as an asset.

Except instead of food or shelter, ''Dungeon Toilet'' focuses mainly on matters regarding the porcelain throne.

!!''Dungeon Toilet'' contains examples of the following:

* ArtisticLicenseBiology: While the manga does offer some real factoids about toilets and toileting, at times it [[RuleOfFunny doesn't let said facts get in the way of a joke]]. For example, in one chapter Yotaro is shown pooping out something that was all the way up in his stomach only moments before, which would be impossible under almost anything resembling normal circumstances.
* CallingYourPottyBreaks: Yotaro talks ''in detail'' about needing to go to the bathroom ''at least'' once a chapter. In fact, he rarely talks about anything else.
* {{Edutainment}}: The manga provides some factual information about various matters related to toilets and/or taking a dump, such as the use of the aloe vera plant for treating constipation. It's not necessarily ''vital'' or terribly ''useful'' information, but it's information nonetheless.

His only remarkable characteristic is his encyclopedic knowledge of toilets, that is -- and that just as often proves a liability as an asset.
* ToiletHumor: Humor related to fecal matters is this manga's primary focus. While most of it tends to be more awkward and uncomfortable than outright disgusting, when the humor wants to get gross, it ''goes for it''. In fact, the ''first chapter'' involves Yotaro wiping his butt with a slime creature, the creature crawling up his butt for a night, and then Yotaro shooting it out of his butt like a cannonball the next time he visits the loo.
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Yotaro was transported from modern-day Japan to his current garden-variety fantasy world, though the details of how or why this happened have yet to be elaborated on.
