Not to mention that Mei's family owns the school and she herself will be the one who will eventually become the school's chairman down the road.

The manga concluded with its 41st chapter on August 18, 2018 with the announcement of a spinoff titled ''Citrus Plus'', which started in December of the same year.

* BlendedFamilyDrama: The series heavily blends (get it?) this with FlirtyStepsiblings. Yuzu's single mother remarries out of the blue, and Yuzu gets off on the wrong foot with Mei before even finding out that they're now stepsisters. Of course, their mutual attraction does throw a wrench into the whole "stepsisters" thing. * DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Near the end of Chapter 18, Mei smacks Yuzu in the rear with an umbrella. However, the way the situation is drawn makes it looks like [[GroinAttack Mei is doing]] [[AssShove something else]].

* HateSink: Many characters in the manga and anime series have their own faults, but are good persons deep inside. The same cannot be said for Mei's former fiancée Amemiya. He was a GoldDigger who was only in it for the high status it would grant him, and he has a lover that he is knowingly seeing behind Mei's back.

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: In the early chapters, Mei's fiance Amemiya admits to not loving her and has a mistress on the side. Mei knows this and feels the same way towards him, and makes advances on Yuzu (and while Amemiya's cheating seems to be consensual, Mei is forcing herself onto Yuzu and doing things that could be considered sexual assault). However, while Amemiya gets his adultery exposed in front of the entire school and is fired with his reputation in tatters, Mei never suffers any consequences, with no one even bringing up that she was cheating at all.
