Oh yeah, and she was attacked, beaten and nearly raped ''again'' by a whole ''other'' pervert.

** Also compare this to Kusunoki's other famous story: ''Manga/GirlsSaurus''. Where a boy named Shingo is totally traumatised by an horible love confession coming from a FatGirl named Haruka ''and'' all the abuse that the story pins on him... but it's almost always PlayedForLaughs [[spoiler: (Until chapter 63)]]. Try to imagine ''exactly'' the same story, but with reversed genders, and then compare it to this.

* ParentalOblivious: It took her daughter getting pregnant ''twice'' for Hinako's mother to finally accept her daughter was in fact being raped by her stepfather.

* HopeSpot: Daisuke's sister is pregnant, his family is fully embracing and preparing for the baby, Daisuke is looking forward to being an uncle, his mother to being a Grandmother... [[spoiler: Then the baby dies in childbirth.]]
