Both times, he was unable to remember how it happened, and thus unable to explain himself to Sheriff.

* The OVA for ''LightNovel/FullMetalPanic: The Second Raid'' is essentially about this happening to Tessa (thanks to Melissa Mao), and her struggles to figure out (without tipping off people who don't know about it) how she ended up waking up half-naked in her commander's chair. Very {{Moe}}.

* In the ''Literature/MagicExLibris'' novels, the main character once used his Libromancer powers to acquire a [[Literature/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy Pan Galactic]] GargleBlaster. He's not sure what happened after that. All he knows is that two days later he found himself in Ontario dressed in a 19th-century Mountie uniform, with no knowledge of how he got there, where he got the outfit from, or why he was wearing it.

* The fourth volume of ''LightNovel/TheUnexploredSummonBloodSign'' has main character Kyousuke wake up in this fashion... to discover [[spoiler:[[{{Yandere}} the White Queen]]]] next to him. His immediate reaction is to grab anything in reach and attempt to kill [[spoiler:the Queen]]. She knocks him out, then mentions that [[OverlyLongGag this is the forty-fifth time this has happened]]. Eventually, Kyousuke manages to wake up without immediately resorting to violence, and then has to figure out exactly what happened for him to be in bed with his archenemy.

* In a ''Series/{{MADtv}}'' skit, a man wakes up with a hangover to learn that he had been elected US president while drunk. His presidency was highly successful and popular (he's in the middle of his second term when he wakes up), he annexed three new states to the US (Cuba, Saskatchewan, and Germany) and even managed get the cure for cancer discovered (by gathering the [=CEOs=] of the world's biggest companies and "infecting them with cancer").

* In ''Videogame/SunsetOverdrive'', the fast travel system is done in this fashion. You select a location, your character takes a swig from a bottle of spirits and passes out and is seen later stumbling out of a port-a-potty near where you want to go.
