Outland has both small floating islands with waterfalls on them, as well as a few places where water falls off the edge of the world. Also, Necropoli of the undead Scourge and their derivatives in ''World of Warcraft'' and ''VideoGame/WarcraftIII'' has slime waterfalls flowing out of them.

* Creator/TerryPratchett's ''Literature/{{Discworld}}'' has the ocean falling off all sides of the Disc, but "[[{{Handwave}} arrangements are made]]" (it's probably quantum). There are even people who take advantage of this and have put a net around the edge (the "circumfence") to catch floating items for salvage ([[MadeASlave and floating sailors for slaves]]), and a species of birds that live just below the rim and feed entirely on random stuff that gets washed over the edge.

This is somewhat justified since the Realm of Darkness is an EldritchLocation where the laws of physics are more like very timid suggestions.

Sister trope to CircularWaterfall, which is what happens when waterfalls appear in the middle of the ocean as opposed to floating landmasses.
