Ruling as the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, she's a 500-year-old childlike vampire who controls fate and is known as the Scarlet Devil as when she feeds, the blood of her victims stains her dress scarlet. [[UnbuiltTrope Unlike many other examples succeeding her]], Remilia is PlayedForLaughs more than she exhibits any [[CreepyChild creepy or disturbing]] aspects. Her immortality is directly correlated with her [[ImmortalImmaturity inability to grow up, either physically or mentally]], leaving it amply clear that behind a façade of class and elegance, Remilia is a RoyalBrat with a bit of a {{chuunibyou}} streak, despite being a legitimately powerful vampire. Among other things, she claims to be descended from Vlad III Dracula, but it's a blatant lie. ZUN himself has acknowledged her status as one of the progenitors of this trope by stating that back in 2002, the powerful vampire BigBad being a little girl was new and unique, [[SeinfeldIsUnfunny but nowadays Remilia is just one in a crowd of similar vampire lolitas]].

Before she was turned into a vampire by the first progenitor over 1,000 years ago, she was the daughter of a noble family until her parents were killed by an angry mob that then sold Krul and her brother to slavery. She's also the only vampire who shows benevolent traits and acts as a ParentalSubstitute towards one of the main characters.

* ''Literature/ArifuretaFromCommonplaceToWorldsStrongest'': Yue is a very powerful vampire with long blonde hair and a prepubescent body, over 300 years old, used to be a princess before she was imprisoned in the abyss, reveals a SugarAndIcePersonality towards her love interest.

* ''Literature/{{Gate}}'': Subverted with Rory Mercury. She would fit this trope to a T, with a sole exception: she's not a vampire, but something worse. Rory is a demigoddess and an apostle of [[GodOfEvil Emroy]], being [[ReallySevenHundredYearsOld 961 years old]] and is known as "[[TheGrimReaper Rory the Reaper]]" for having a [[{{BFS}} BIG]] SinisterScythe as her main weapon, slaughtering those who offend Emroy and those she views worthy of being punished by death. Despite her historical inspiration, UsefulNotes/ElizabethBathory, having vampire motifs due to being an infamous serial killer who is believed to have [[BloodBath bathed in her victim's blood]] according to legends, her ''Fate/EXTRA'' incarnation has powers closer to [[OurDragonsAreDifferent dragons]] instead, and she's a more comedic take on the archetype with IdolSinger traits. She also has an OlderAlterEgo in that later media introduces a Servant based on an adult Bathory (who goes by "Literature/{{Carmilla}}", due to her legend being warped by the influence of that story); the two of them hate each other.

She loves to dress in Lolita clothing, has dark purple hair and, though she poses as the daughter of the Kirishiki family, is really the head vampire. Even though she's trying to kill all humans at a village, she's a sympathetic AntiVillain whose goal is creating a place where she and her kindred can live peacefully. She also manages to form a close friendship with the town's priest.

* ''Manga/TsukuyomiMoonPhase'': Hazuki is a rare DaywalkingVampire in her early teens who greatly prefers long dresses of the ElegantGothicLolita style and descends from a royal vampire lineage. Overlapping with ShanaClone, she has long purple hair and is a {{Tsundere}} who treats her love interest like a slave.

* ''VideoGame/TheIdolmaster'' has a song called "Kyun! Vampire Girl" about a girl that fits this archetype. The accompanying outfit My Dear Vampire also evokes the trope.
