* ''Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid'' actually has two different trios that get different focus in the various spin-offs: there's the school trio (Kanna, Saikawa, and Shouta) in ''Kanna's Daily Life'' and the work trio (Elma, Kobayashi, and Takiya) in ''Elma's Office Lady Diary''.

They're all members of the Batfamily who are the same age and they trained together, with Tim and Cass helping to train Steph and ''ComicBook/{{Convergence}}'' implies they're all living together in an apartment in Gotham.

* Grace, Anna, and Ian from ''Fanfic/TheNightUnfurls''. In an unusual spin of this trope, [[AvertedTrope no]] LoveTriangle is present, since Anna and Ian are [[HappilyMarried already married]]. Their dynamic is more established in the remastered version, where all three of them work in the same FantasyTavern.

In some variations, the male character may even be TheLeader ''and'' TheBigGuy, if both the main and the other girls also serve the [[TheSmartGuy Smart]] [[TheChick Chicks]] role.

* Maronnier, one of the songs from their 3rd album "Cocktail Love", consists of Baek Jong-woo (Maro), Kim Jong-un, and Kim Min-kyung as broadcasting singers.

This is played with; Vyse is the leader of the group, and though there is a visible LoveTriangle, it is not the main focus of the story, and it strays away from it, leaving it unresolved - given the circumstances, it's handled quite well.
** Not only is it unresolved, but numerous fans found the handling of the LoveTriangle to suggest a canon OT3.

* In ''VisualNovel/MahouTsukaiNoYoru'', you have the main character Aoko, her {{foil}} and best friend Alice, and her schoolmate Soujuurou, who claims to like her. [[PlayingWithTropes Played with]] in that while Soujuurou has ShipTease moments with both of them, only Alice is implied to have feelings for him while Aoko and Soujuurou only become [[JustFriends very intimate friends]] with little to no romantic interest in each other.
