At one point, GH tickled Gamzee into hypersensitivity and [[GroinAttack punched him in the groin]], then went back to acting as if nothing happened. Naturally, when Gamzee IMed his friends to complain, [[RefugeInAudacity they didn't believe him]]. It got worse later on; Condesce wanted a turn, and then they decided to "[[GlasgowGrin immortalise the moment]]"...

* Strongly subverted in KungFuPanda, when [[BigBad Tai Lung]] tries to kill Po with his [[FingerPokeOfDoom Nerve Strike Attacks]]. Unlike his previous foes, all there does is tickle Po thanks to his immense body fat.

* Used by Trixie on Applejack in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS3E5MagicDuel Magic Duel]]" on ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' to make her give in to her demands. Trixie unintentionally does this to Rainbow Dash at the end of the episode.

* While not exactly ''torture'', Jenny from ''MyLifeAsATeenageRobot'' has nerve endings installed onto her body in one episode that gives her physical feelings of ticklishness [[spoiler:and pain]]. While she actually [[FriendlyTickleTorture enjoys being tickled throughout the episode]], it still causes problems for her, [[spoiler:but they do pay off in the end against a villain that feeds on mental pain]].

* ''CallOfCthulhu''. Nightgaunts can grab people and tickle them, rendering them helpless so the nightgaunt can carry them away.

** A Chillarmy in episode 13 of ''Best Wishes'' uses Tickle no less than three times, tickling Chaobu and Oshawott into submission. Pikachu manages to resist it, however.

* [[Manga/DragonBall Goku]] gets tickled by Caterpy (no, not ''[[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} that]]'' Caterpie) in his first round of the Otherworld Tournament.

Can lead to a FridgeHorror (as does [[TheScarpiaUltimatum forced marriage when you realise that it's actually G-Rated rape]]). Sometimes tickling becomes a FetishFuel. Usually done with a feather (despite not being the most effective in RealLife). See also CoolAndUnusualPunishment and SpankTheCutie.

* [[{{Naruto}} Jiraiya]] interrogates some {{mooks}} from the Rain Village using this method. When that fails, he threatens them with [[BalefulPolymorph turning them into frogs]].

* The Team Rocket trio, among other things, use a tickling machine on the Safari Zone Warden to try and get him to reveal the location of a Dratini in ''{{Pokemon}}''.

* In ''VideoGame/SuperMarioRPG: Legend of the Seven Stars'', if you don't give in to Yaridovich's {{Hostage For McGuffin}} demands, he tickles the town's mayor mercilessly until you [[ButThouMust give in]]. (The more you resist his demands, the number of Flowers you get from him afterward is reduced to merely one. Keep it up long enough, and all you get is a single coin.)
* In just one of many blatant and slightly creepy attempts at FanService in ''RumbleRoses'', one ringside weapon is a long stick with a cartoony hand on one end that is used to tickle an opponent. It doesn't hurt them, but causes their humiliation meter to rapidly shoot up.

* In an episode of ''CourageTheCowardlyDog'' Muriel is on the receiving end of this trope when Dr. Le Quack interrogates her to tell him where her valuables are while under the ruse of being a psychologist trying to help her get her memory back after a blow to the head gave her amnesia.

* ''The SuperMarioBrosSuperShow'' episode where Bowser was a vampire had him perform this on Luigi.

* In ''DigimonFrontier'', two of the Digidestined were tortured by Ranamon tickling them with a feather.
* And in ''DigimonXrosWars'', Shoutmon gets treated into this because the villains think he has the [[PlotCoupon Code Crown]].

* An episode of ''HerculesTheLegendaryJourneys'' had a man in Tartarus subjected to an eternity of tickle torture.
