ParodySue is usually this done deliberately, although it can become hard to tell it was supposed to be a joke. Parodies of multiple types of Sue tend to turn into a bloodbath (see page picture), as there's usually only room for one. And the above example raises a kind of interesting question: When everyone is a MarySue, would they cancel each other out? Or would the universe implode?

implode]]? The idea that they cancel each other out is one of the major rationals behind this trope. After all; if everyone is a Sue who can complain?

* Elly, Elizabeth, Michael and Anthony make one of these in ForBetterOrForWorse, mainly in the later years of the strip.
* TheAuthority. The team consists of a Superman CaptainErsatz and a Batman CaptainErsatz for people who think that the problem with Batman is that he doesn't have NewPowersAsThePlotDemands (both without the qualms about ARealManIsAKiller killing); three people who can pretty much do anything (one of whom is a replacement for a dead team member who was just virtually invincible, not virtually omnipotent); one who can literally do anything; and Swift.

* The GonterVerse may have at least one or two Sues or Stus per story, but when you consider they all seem to be in the same universe, they slowly start to form one of these.
* Fanfic/MyImmortal long ago passed the Sue Event Horizon. You have the main character, AuthorAvatar Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way, her friend's character Willow, and total character rehauls for Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ron, strike:Hagrid "Hargrid" (inexplicably a Hogwarts student), Ginny, Neville, Crabbe, Goyle, and Professor strike:Trelawny "Trevolry" (a.k.a. Professor strike:Sinistra "Sinister"). They all become "goffik"; wear only Hot Topic clothes, listen to the same bands she does, cut themselves, look like singers from her favorite bands, and all the guys become bisexual. When she goes back in time, similar treatments are given to James, strike:Sirius "Serious", strike:Lucius Lucian, Tom "Satan" Riddle (a.k.a. Tom Bombadil), and Hedwig (actually a male bisexual wizard). Strangely, [[strike:Snape]] "Snap" is cast as a major villain.
* Star Ruby and her friends from Transformers FanFic.
* The author's self insert and his friends in the SailorMoon / Urotsukidoji crossover, "The Coming of Munihausen." The same can be said for most of the villains as well.
* CoriFalls tends to do this to all the characters she likes.
* Stand of the Exiles has at least three: the heroine, her designated love interest, and the villain.
* LightAndDarkTheAdventuresOfDarkYagami starts out with just the one stu - Dark Yagami. Then comes Sayu, Night Yagami (Dark's evil(er) clone), Shakespeare's Shinigami... And later comes Day Yagami, strike:Darknight Dawn Yagami, Dusk Yagami (also a robot), all of them clones from the original Sue, Dark.
* Harry Potter and the Story of Eliza is made of this trope. Not only do you have Eliza Diawna Snape, of course Snape's daughter, but her twin sister Diawna Eliza, their mother Deloris, and Wyrren Malfoy, Draco's would-be CreepyChild little sister. Add in the fact that every single character is OOC (Draco in particular) and you've got one giant mess of a fic on your hands. In the early days of the fandom it was considered the epitome of Mary Sue fic; unfortunately it's now very hard to find online, but if you can get your hands on it it's hysterical.
* Fanfic/ShinjiAndWarhammer40K is possible proof of the mantra TropesAreNotBad. Piling almost every MarySue trope onto Shinji at once turns out to be awesome. And the funny thing is WordOfGod states that the point of the fic was to avert the tendency of Shinji becoming any kind of Sue to achieve happiness. That went over about as well as Rei being creepy.
* FanFic/HowIBecameYours - The entire Gaang from AvatarTheLastAirbender, save Sokka (his Badass Normality stops just short) and Aang (who doesn't really show up enough), plus Azula, of all people.
* Sierra Ranay, who has also gone by IHaveManyNames many other handles over the past 10 or so years, writes atrocious SonicTheHedgehog fanfiction which perfectly demonstrates this trope. In one fanfic, she had the following self-insert characters: Shay Ranay, Sierra Ranay, Shay Ranay, Shalita somethingorother, Sierra/Shalita? "Shay" Ranay and Shaetore Valencia. There also were a character or two who were based on family members. If you are a masochist you can peruse her old horror here.
* Taken to a ridiculous extreme by Fred Herriot, who can, and often has, a MarySue of almost any given stripe: Ataru gets to be a PossessionSue every time he appears in a Herriot fanfic, as does Ranma. And it's inevitable they'd also be God Mode Sues, Jerk Sues and Fixer Sues, all rolled into one. And that's not counting the masses of original characters that frequently appear in his works... But wait! That's not all! There's also several entire alien races of Mary Sues that often appear in them, such as the Avalonians, the Nendo-Kata, and the Sagussans!
* Played for comedy in Hagrid and the Skoolgurlz. The band goes to Fanfic, California, a city where sues go when Hogwarts sends them away. Voldemort, trying to compete with the titular band, makes a whole band out of sues, called Midnight Xtasy.
* Pretty much every important character in FanFic/KnightOfLolicon is a Sue of some sort, whether Anti (the male lead), God Mode (again, the male lead-- no, that is not a contradiction), Relationship (the female lead), Villain (the antagonist, or Possession (the non-[=OCs=]). [[hottip:*:To give you some idea of the latter, Lolita Dolores Haze is now the Goddess of Lolicon, and the female lead is her daughter-- her daughter somehow looks older than Dolores herself.]]

* RobertAHeinlein's later books can seem to fit this trope, in part because he brought back many of his previous characters to act as mentors for his new protagonists. Many of the main characters are Mary Sueish (and the main protagonist is almost always an Author Avatar), they all tend to have a similar political outlook as the author (or if not at first, they are soon easily convinced by their companions) and to talk about it a lot. The reason Heinlein remains popular despite this is because his characters are actually very cool, and they do go through hardships that aren't easily solved, even if you are completely awesome.
** There is an apocryphal tale that his novel most famous for the above tendency, TheNumberOfTheBeast, is one he wrote deliberately trying to prove he could write a bad novel. He failed, in that it turned out to be one of his best sellers ever. Apparently he was enough of a good writer that even when he tried to suck, it was still entertaining.
* The HouseOfNight series by P.C. and Kristin Cast is remarkable for its all-Sue character lineup. Start with the worst possible use of OurVampiresAreDifferent, and go from there.
* Most of the characters in TheVampireChronicles qualify.
* TheInheritanceCycle and Literature/Twilight are both regularly accused of nearly every main character being a MarySue. In recent years, this trope has tended to center on elves and vampires a lot.
* In Ralph Nader's "Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us!", all of the good guys sound remarkably like Nader.
* Everyone in the BattleRoyale novel is either a MarySue or CannonFodder that almost invariably dies in the first chapter they appear.
* Arguably, the entire cast of Douglas Hill's young-adult novels Blade of the Poisoner and Master of Fiends. Judge for yourself.
* Arguably, anyone in John Maddox Roberts's Stormlands series who's not a RedShirt, a complete incompetent, or both.
* Steven Erikson's MalazanBookOfTheFallen series is, as the title suggests, a particularly messy example of the 'Sues starting to cancel each other out' part of this. Pretty much every single character would qualify as the undisputed Sue of another story in some manner - the real joy is in seeing how they all interact.
* Emberverse Dies the Fire by [=~S. M. Stirling~=] is full of amazing people who just happen to be loaded with unusual and cool skills. Perhaps a JustifiedTrope here, in that . This justification doesn't quite cover the fairly esoteric languages everyone just happens to speak fluently, though.

* Charmed in later seasons, especially Wyatt, Chris and Billie.
* TheWestWing, yet somehow it works.
* NCIS can sometimes seem like this when the creators' urge to make everyone a BadAss gets out of hand.

* A common accusation of Exalted is that the rules almost ensure a MarySue character of one variety or another. Between the Exalted, gods, God-Blooded, demons, FairFolk, and some of the more powerful ghosts, the number of potential Sues reaches somewhere in the hundreds of thousands. Hell, if you only count the Exalted as potential Sues that still puts the number around 12,000 or so (including Alchemicals).
** Your mileage may vary, though; Rule of Cool, Rule of Funny, and a huge helping of So Cool It's Awesome can easily push the Mary Sue characters (basically the entire cast) into Ace territory.
* Warhammer 40000 Any SpaceMarine codex written by Matt Ward will contain at least three Mary Sues. The most infamous of these being Kaldor Draigo, the Sanguinor and the rewritten Mephiston. And that's before you get to the Ultramarines.

* The picture at the top is from House Sparklypoo, a webcomic that has great fun playing with Sue stereotypes.
* The Walkyverse introduces at least one Mary Sue with every installment, as well as a new SelfInsert. Interestingly enough, in the latest entry into the verse, the Mary Sue and the SelfInsert were separate characters.
* Sonichu, of course, has a bad case of this. You've got the title character, his girlfriend, the author's self-insert, the author's various "sweethearts"... In fact, a comment on the Sonichu article about it being a "nine mary sue pileup" was the inspiration for this trope.
* The page quote from ErrantStory describes 3 of the 4 main cast members. The last one is a skilled elven warrior, who is considered an outcast among her people, with an even more troubled past partly due to falling in love with a human. None of them are actual Parody Sues. The comic still gets away with it, thanks to a combination of good writing, actual character flaws, and liberal application of Deadpan Snarkers and Lampshading. According to an ad at the site, the author recently did a 'workshop' called "How to write Mary sues, tropes and cliches, and get away with it".
* BobAndGeorge community has a lot of Autor Avatars, most of which are GodModeSue. They often appear in each other's fancomics. The most suited example is Autors' wars.

* Battle of the Sues from the Forum Games.
* Likewise, most of the Pantheon/Disgraces of the Trope Pantheon, and the stories written about them. (although all written as Parody Sues) Far from all, mind you. (though the Sues tend to be in charge)
* Organization Infinity, a DeviantArt clusterfuck of over two-hundred and seventy-five (and counting!) Organization!Sues, each with progressively more stupid "elements" and weapons of choice.
