* All four ''Manga/InuYasha'' movies have these as well, the third movie's Stinger also resolving [[spoiler:how Inu-Yasha still has his kotodama rosary in subsequent episodes of the anime despite it breaking into pieces and flying off earlier in the movie.]]

* A number of episodes of ''TheSimpsons'' end with the characters interacting with the shushing woman in the Gracie Films logo after the end-credits (often in reference to something which has occurred in the episode itself). In some instances, the characters respond directly to the woman (eg: "Bart Star", which has Homer yelling, "You're cut too, shushy!"), while in others the "shhh!" itself is substituted with dialogue from the episode (eg: "Homer the Great", where Carl's "Shut up!" is heard in its place).

* ''Film/ThirtyMinutesOrLess'' ends with [[spoiler: Dwayne, Travis and The Major surviving their near-death experiences and going into business together running a tanning salon that's a front for a prostitution ring. Dwayne also get the girl as Travis killed her boyfriend with a flamethrower.]]

* ''GhostWorld'': After all the credits roll, there's another take of the scene where Seymour (Steve Buscemi) gets attacked by Doug in the minimart. Only this time, Buscemi's characer easily wins the fight, choking Doug with his own weapon, and stomps out triumphantly. He finishes with a bunch of Mr. Pink type dialogue.

* At the end of the latest [[ThePunisher Punisher Max]] story arc, Wilson Fisk has become the Kingpin (at the cost of his son's life and his wife's sanity) and orders everyone away so he can enjoy it. But one person won't leave.

* In the music video to Music/{{Disturbed}}'s "Asylum", after the song ends we're treated to a shot of the charred corpse of the protagonist sitting in a morgue who'd just tossed himself into a furnace to escape his pursuers[[hottip:* :The doctors trying to help him]] ([[CuckooNest thinking his was just having a delusion]] and that [[ResetButton he would end up back in his padded cell]]).[[spoiler: The corpse opens its eyes, [[ThroughTheEyesOfMadness implying that even this was somehow just a delusion]]]].

* ''WebAnimation/TurnaboutStorm'': All episodes after ''Part 2'' end with a single piece of dialogue by one character that slightly {{foreshadow|ing}}s a future event.

* Rememeber the scene in ''WesternAnimation/{{Brave}}'' when Merida arranges to buy all of the Witch's woodcarvings if she'll make her a spell as well and the Witch tells her they'll be delivered in a fortnight? [[spoiler: After the end credits and before the Disney and Pixar logos, the same guard who was asleep on the job earlier (the one who had half his moustache cut off by Merida's brothers) wakes up again to see the Witch's familiar has indeed delivered them all ("Sign here, please!").]]

* The beggining and end of almost every chapter in the ''FanFic/TamersForeverSeries'' has a short hilarious scene that involves the Author and characters disscussing the previous and following chapters. These frequently involve [[RageAgainstTheAuthor the author being strangled for what he's written]].

A name for any post-credits scene. It is [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-credits_scene also known as a "tag."]] It was once used as a type of {{Easter Egg}} for people who stuck around for the credits when most people had left the theater/changed the channel.

* The second ''RebuildOfEvangelion'' movie, ''Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance'', appears to end with [[spoiler:Shinji triggering the Third Impact just to save Rei from an Angel]], but the post-credits scene [[spoiler:has Kaworu fly in from the Moon in the Mark-VI Eva and stop the Third Impact by impaling Unit-01 on a spear that is, oddly enough, ''not'' the Lance of Longinus.]]

* After the credits in the game ''PredatorConcreteJungle'', executives from the newly-formed Weyland-Yutani Corporation discuss the fate of BigBad Lucretia Borgia, who had stalked the title character for most of the game... and who has now been turned into a half-organic computer named MOTHER.

* Many episode of ''Series/{{Noob}}'' have on starting Season 2, with content that can be anything from an extra gag related to the episode to a small piece of actual story progression.

* {{Phelous}} ended his ''JacobsLadder'' review [[spoiler: revealing that every review of his from the past five years has never really happened due to him dying at the end of first review, MacAndMe, resulting in him never leading go of his life, forced to keep reviewing shitty movies. He then accepted his death and we were treated to the last image of his death from his first episode]] before we cut to the credits, which was in complete silence unlike his other reviews. [[spoiler; But then you start hearing what appears to be siren sounds in the background slowly increasing in volume before we're treated to a quick scene of Phelous' door and the door knocking.]]

** ''Film/IronMan3'' has some good comedic competition for ''The Avengers''; [[spoiler the film began with Tony [[FramingDevice narrating]] the events [[LiteraryAgentHypothesis seemingly to the audience]], but the stinger reveals that he's [[ArmChairPsychology pouring his heart out]] to Bruce Banner - ''who's fallen asleep.'' He wakes up to Tony's exasperation, but Banner just apologetically points out that he's NotThatKindOfDoctor]].
