A name for any post-credits scene. It is also known as a "tag."

** A short scene on the ''Film/{{Thor}}'' DVD shows that this was set up [[spoiler: specifically to ''block'' what they were talking about from happening.]]

* ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine'' had, depending on your screening, either [[spoiler:a now-amnesiac Logan in a bar, "drinking to remember"]] or [[spoiler:the [[LosingYourHead living disembodied head]] of {{Deadpool}}, having gained his mouth back and his MediumAwareness as well.]] There was also [[spoiler:General Stryker getting arrested]], but everyone got that one.

* ''Film/AVeryHaroldAndKumar3DChristmas'' reveals [[spoiler: he was resurrected after making Jesus angry.]]

* ''{{Cloverfield}}'' has a mildly disappointing example: after sitting through the credits, the audience is treated to a two-second, crackling, indecipherable audio clip that, when played backwards, apparently says [[spoiler:"It's still alive!"]] And it was apparently nothing but FlameBait, since the WordOfGod later stated that [[spoiler:yes, the monster is dead]]. Forwards, it says [[spoiler:"Help us!"]] However, there is another message, by combining both the original and backwards message: [[spoiler:"I don't want to live, help u-]]

* ''TheSwordAndTheSorcerer'' promised Talon would be back in ''TalesOfTheAncientEmpire''. Amazingly enough, 26 years later, apparently [[http://www.dreadcentral.com/tales-ancient-empire he will be!]]

* ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries'' includes a joke at the end of every episode. One version was a clip from something, paired with that [[MemeticMutation internet meme]] about [[Film/{{Superman}} Lex Luthor telling Lois Lane to "say the line"... that little exchange that ends in "WRONG!"]] To clarify -- the video is taken from the series, while the audio is a random sound bite from somewhere else -- examples are Gorillaz's 'Feel Good Inc.', Dan Green's "I'm going to do my laundry!" comment, the above Lex/Lois exchange, and a self TakeThat on LittleKuriboh's marriage proposal over Website/YouTube. Sometimes the video isn't from the series -- one episode involved the Drama Hog, which was played again at the end with the caption "Rejected ''{{Cloverfield}}'' Monster".

* In BennettTheSage's DevilMan review, we were treated to a scene at the end where [[spoiler: Bennett holds up the infamous, rare and uncut VHS version of ViolenceJack in hand, lamenting that many people want him to review it, but it's so rare, there's not even a torrent of it and plans to keep it that way, resulting in him throwing the tape off a bridge and into a river, fading to the credits.]] But there's still a minute or two left after credits. What we get is [[spoiler:surreal footage of a small chest in a dark room prying itself open, glowing red light shining through the cracks while horrible screams are heard in the background. The chest opens and the words "VIOLENCE IS COMING" in red, bloody font appear on the screen, before cutting suddenly to black. Don't think we seen the last of ViolenceJack.]]

* Episode 10 of ''SchoolDays'' has a scene showing Makoto at the airport trying to find Setsuna, who is leaving for Paris. A flashback Setsuna has reveals that Setsuna was originally supposed to have the classroom seat next to Makoto, but Sekai begged her to switch seats.

* In the MatthewBroderick version of ''Film/{{Godzilla}}'', one egg was not destroyed. But it's the final scene, not after the credits. This provided the setup for ''WesternAnimation/GodzillaTheSeries'', which was generally thought of much more highly than the film.

* In ''VideoGame/StarOceanTheLastHope'', assuming your RelationshipValues were high enough, and [[GuideDangIt you didn't miss certain events]], you're treated to a scene of [[spoiler: Faize [[NoOneShouldSurviveThat (Who previously seen to have been sucked into a black hole)]] appearing by Lymle's side to place a flower in her hair]] following the credits.

* The stingers from are some of its most memorable moments, including the Spanish class rap.

** Series spinoff ''VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance'' even includes one, where [[spoiler:Raiden explains that he has only damaged a fraction of Desperado/Armstrong's web of corruption, with Raiden leaving Maverick for good to continuing to fight his own war.]]

* ''JamesAndTheGiantPeach'' has a rather bizarre sequence in which [[TheFaceless some kid]] plays a mechanical carnival game wherein he controls a rhino which attempts to butt spinning copies of the titular hero's horrific aunts; a successful hit causes the target's head to [[YourHeadASplode pop off]].

* In ''CurseOfMonkeyIsland'', [[spoiler:there's a short dialogue between a child and his father about the Carnival of the Damned while visting.]]
* Also, in ''TalesOfMonkeyIsland'', [[spoiler:Morgan Le Flay walks to the Voodoo Lady and brings her Le Chuck's essence, creating a SequelHook for a new game in the series.]]

** The fourth film, ''On Stranger Tides'', has a stinger which shows[[spoiler: Angelica after Jack deserted her on a island, finding the Jack voodoo doll after it washes up on shore.]]

* The end titles for {{Demoni}} start to roll on the screen, while Cheryl picks at a wound on the back of her neck... {{Subverted}} because the credits disappear, Cheryl turns into a Demon, but is shot and killed before she can harm George. Then the car with George on it disappears from view and the credits finally roll.

* After the end of the story version of Cirque du Soleil's ''{{Alegria}}'', it shows the director standing on a street corner, and he says, in a perfect quote from ''Film/ThePrincessBride'': "He said to wait right here; he said he would be back; I'm not leaving."

* FanFic/TurnaboutStorm

* ''FanFic/TurnaboutStorm'': All episodes after ''Part 2'' end with a single piece of dialogue by one character that slightly {{foreshadow|ing}}s a future event.

* The BigFinishDoctorWho audio ''Recap/BigFinishDoctorWhoNEDAS4E4TheBookOfKells'' ends with the revelation that the Meddling Monk's companion Brother Lucianus, is actually [[spoiler: the Doctor's ex-companion Lucie Miller]].

* Delightfully subverted in the SciFi Original ''{{Kaw}}'', where the reveal that the killer birds aren't dead comes immediately before the credits (they attack the hero as he walks into his bedroom).
* There's a tiny one a few seconds into the ending credits of ''TheRedShoes,'' an Asian {{horror}} film about the horrible things ordinary women would do for a fabulous pair of shoes.

* The end credits of ''JerryMaguire'' gets interrupted by Rod Tidwell's first Reebok's commercial.

* In ''{{Stealth}}'', the AI that went haywire, killed people, and blew stuff up performs a HeroicSacrifice in the end to save the hero and [[RedemptionEqualsDeath redeems itself]]. After the credits, the AI lights up again amongst the rubble. It's not dead after all, and it may be back for more malice - though the fact that it was an utter [[IncrediblyLamePun box office bomb]] means there was no sequel.

* The ''Franchise/EvilDead'' remake has [[spoiler: a cameo by BruceCampbell as Ash saying one of the series' most famous lines:]]

* There's still someone trying to kill JenniferLoveHewitt after ''IStillKnowWhatYouDidLastSummer''.
