Better wording maybe?

Villains can also give this to other villains on an EvilVersusEvil stage. The content of this speech is usually along the lines of how they're EvilerThanThou and pointing out flaws and shortcomings in the other villain, like the MagnificentBastard (or [[MagnificentBitch Bitch]]) chiding a SmugSnake, a CardCarryingVillain mocking a KnightTemplar for [[AtLeastIAdmitIt employing the same methods but believing their actions to be right and just]], a calculating practitioner of PragmaticVillainy berating a StupidEvil villain for being too sadistic to actually achieve anything, or in a conflict between the EvilGenius and TheBrute, have the Evil Genius mock the Brute for using brute force to compensate for their [[DumbMuscle low intelligence]] and explain their simple-mindedness makes him predictable and as such easy to beat, or the Brute pointing out how the Evil Genius [[FlunkyBoss relies on their minions]] and HumongousMecha to fight their battles and for all their [[InsufferableGenius vaunted intelligence]], they can't make any of their big schemes stick.

Compare and contrast the NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech, which may incorporate elements of this. See also DidYouActuallyBelieve and YoureNothingWithoutYourPhlebotinum. An ArmorPiercingResponse can provide a short, but effective way of calling someone out. Put to music, this is TheDissTrack, and can become a TheVillainSucksSong or TheHeroSucksSong. ForeignLanguageTirade is, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin quite fittingly]], a foreign-language variant of this trope.

One thing all seven types of speech have in common is that the speaker has a point, [[VillainHasAPoint even if they're villains]]. To give a speech about it, the speaker has to have thought it through and can usually have more than one reason why you suck. This is because the writer of the story has also thought it through. This is a sister trope to CallingTheOldManOut (or CallingTheOldWomanOut). Compare TalkingTheMonsterToDeath where this is meant to kill or [[DefeatMeansFriendship redeem]] a villain. Could also be a TakeThatScrappy where someone tells a hated character what the audience feels about them. This can lead to failure if the character receiving the speech CantTakeCriticism. Can also overlap with a CowardiceCallout, which is when someone calls someone else out for fear-based shortcomings.

There are several contexts in which this can happen.

Someone delivers a speech to another character on all the reasons why that other character sucks or is a horrible person. Sometimes, people can be pretty [[Main/AnnoyanceTropes annoying to their friends or people, from goofy annoying to super and cranky annoying.]] Or other times [[Main/LazyBum they might not help their friends.]] But sometimes, a person can be so annoying or unhelpful that the friend or person might shout and explain their feelings and it can be pretty unnecessary.

Sometimes, a person can be very fed up with their annoyance from their partners, that they can’t handle their feelings. Sooner or later, these feelings will explode out from their mouth, and BOOM, [[Main/TearTropes crying occurs.]] Soon enough, either the character feels sorry for what they have done and will apologize, which will end the whole thing happily, or the character won’t apologize at all! It’s only one magic word.

There are several contexts in which this can happen.
