** Perhaps most infamously, a questionably designed Donald Duck ride. The ride itself was designed so that Donald was laying on his back, chilling, while the rider would be on his tummy... and his bill would end up being close to any given rider's crotch. The ride was originally designed by [=ElektroMobilTechnik (EMT) GmbH=] when they first secured the Disney license, but the license persisted when Merkur bought over EMT, in which then production of those rides were dropped and more sensible designs were made. However, some of the EMT-era machines are still out in the open, including in Johnny's Saloon in Huntington Beach, California, USA, where it's used as a naughty photo op (for adults, of course). Merkur still holds the license to manufacture Disney rides, however the license is now shared with Cogan (Merkur and Cogan also shared the license with Coinstar before Coinstar sold off their coin-op amusements business). Disturbingly however, Chinese ride makers have started making rip-off versions of said offensive Donald ride. Apparently they don't understand why it's so popular but want a piece of the pie nonetheless.

* ''WesternAnimation/JayJayTheJetPlane'': From [=Fun2Learn=] (the same team that brought us Postman Pat and the Sesame Street rides), we have Jay Jay and Snuffy, which were released in 2003. Also, Coinstar spawned several models; their versions of Jay Jay and Snuffy with a different soundboard and dashboard, along with the red Latino plane, Lina.

* ''WesternAnimation/PostmanPat'': The post van (PAT 1) (which has been redesigned twice over[[note]]The original van was built by OMC Electronics in 1992 (prototyped in 1991). The license then went over to Mitchells for a while, where they produced a limited run of a version of the van with a modified design and a rolling road display, before finally landing in the hands of [=Fun2Learn=], which revamped the whole ride design and released three versions[[/note]] ), the Special Delivery Service Helicopter (PAT 3) from ''Postman Pat: SDS'' (Amutec), and a ride where you get to sit on a sack of mail next to Pat and Jess (OMC). The signature van design is a pretty common ride all over the UK.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Pingu}}'': Spawned a rather weird half-barrel-half-sled thing featuring Pingu and Robby, designed by OMC Electronics. The ride played "Woodpeckers from Space" and the Pingu theme tune.

* Franchise/TheMuppets has several, most notably of the ''WesternAnimation/MuppetBabies'' characters, from EMT.

* ''WesternAnimation/MuppetBabies'': Several models by EMT Germany, including a car with Kermit or Fozzie Bear and a spaceship with Kermit and Gonzo.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheSmurfs'': Can't say for sure if the ATM Italy rides from the '80s were officially licensed, but now Cogan is producing a line of officially licensed Smurfs rides, including a log-see-saw with Clumsy on one end and a carousel-swing ride under the name "Swinging Smurfs".

* ''Muffin the Mule'': The titular mule by Edwin Hall in the '50s. There was supposed to be one of the 2005 animated revival series, but the revivial series flopped before the ride could be made.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones'': Rides include Fred Flintsone (Flintmobile) and Barney Rubble's (Loggin Continential) cars along with Dino, made by Kiddie's Manufacturing in 1994. The ride license has changed hands to Memopark of Italy however, and a revamped version of the Flintmobile and Dino has been released, along with a new interactive hydraulic glider ride featuring Fred and Wilma.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Paddington}}'': an open-top blue taxi by OMC Electronics in 1993 based on the 70s stop-motion series, and later, a regular taxi by Jolly Roger (which comes in two colors - dark red and black) which was based on the 1997 Creator/{{Cinar}} series, ''The Adventures of Paddington Bear''.

* ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros'':

* ''Manga/OnePiece'' - And again, Bandai Namco Entertainment

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Cars}}'': Lightning [=McQueen=], courtesy of EMT. Merkur has re-released [=McQueen=] with a different facial expression and a new soundboard and has also spawned Tow Mater and Lightning [=McQueen=] again, but this time, in his Dinoco paint job. Also spawned unlicensed rides of [=McQueen=], Mater and the rest of the cast. Motoi made a "Phantom Plane" ride with the same colour and face as Mater.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Frozen|2013}}'': There is a carousel ride featuring sleds with the different characters on the side. One of the sleds has Olaf riding on the back. And before anyone asks, yes it does play Let It Go.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Minions}}'': Created by Jolly Rodger. This ride is decorated to look like the Minion sized car seen in [[WesternAnimation/DespicableMe the first Despicable Me film]], and contains Bob the Minion riding in the booster seat.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Shrek}}'': There aren't any official Shrek kiddie rides out there, but a few bootlegs have popped up.

* ''Anime/[[Naruto]]'' - No official Naruto kiddie rides exist, however there is a bootleg Naruto kiddie ride carousel which can be found in China, Indonesia and the Philippines.

* ''ComicBook/IncredibleHulk'': You get to drive a Jeep with Hulk in the back seat. Manufactured by Kiddie's in the late 1990s.

* ''Andy Pandy'': Spawned a carousel based on the 2002 reboot, courtesy of Ride On! Entertainment.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheBusyWorldOfRichardScarry'': Lowly's apple car and Banana Gorilla's Bananamobile (the latter is actually quite rare), made by Jolly Roger.

* ''Franchise/SpongeBobSquarePants'': Brace yourselves -- after years of only cheapo unlicensed Chinese ripoffs, Northern Leisure/Kiddy Rides UK has gotten the rights to produce an official [=SpongeBob=] [=SquarePants=] ride from Nickelodeon featuring [=SpongeBob=] and Gary the Snail riding in the Krabby Patty Wagon from ''WesternAnimation/TheSpongeBobSquarePantsMovie''.

* ''Music/MrBlobby'': A see-saw and a boat, manufactured in 1994 by Jolly Roger. However, on the boat, the coin slot and start/sound buttons appear to be on ''Mr. Blobby himself''. The see-saw design was later re-used for the Mr. Bump see-saw. During Christmas times in the '90s, some see-saws had Mr. Blobby replaced with Father Christmas/Santa Claus.

* ''Manga/{{Doraemon}}'': All made by Creator/BandaiNamcoEntertainment under the Banpresto brand, there's a Doraemon time machine ride with an interactive screen and buttons (actually, there are two versions of the time machine ride- the one with the interactive screen mentioned, and a older, smaller version of the ride that lacks the screen), a Giant Doraemon that fits two kids and move in a spinning motion (again, two models- one having an interactive screen and buttons, and another having just two steering wheels and some buttons), a Doraemon pirate ship (again, with an interactive screen and buttons), one with Doraemon sitting on a cloud with the rider, [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers and a fire engine with Doraemon on it]]. Again, sadly, officially they're NoExportForYou and can only be found in Japan, although like other Japanese arcade machines they've been unofficially exported to other Asian countries via grey-market imports. Aside from that, however, there's also dozens of Chinese-made unlicensed knockoffs which are sadly, much more prevalent.

* ''WesternAnimation/NoddysToylandAdventures'': Several models by different companies. They all feature Noddy in his car and can be seen in the UK and US. The R.G. Mitchell model has Tessie Bear at the back.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThomasTheTankEngine'' is probably one of the most prolific franchises when it comes to kiddie rides:

* ''Franchise/HelloKitty'' - Notable for being the few franchises where kiddie rides are manufactured in both Japan and Europe (the other being WesternAnimation/ThomasTheTankEngine). It should be noted that there are also tons of unlicensed Hello Kitty rides. One can easily tell the fakes apart because the character looks ''OffModel''.

* ''Franchise/{{Batman}}'':

* ''Franchise/SpiderMan'': With Spidey in either a helicopter, motorcycle, or sports car. There is also a Spider-Man vehicle carousel, courtesy of Ride On! Entertainment. Ital-Resina has also spawned a ripoff Spider-Man motorcycle, which can be found in Walton Pier.
* ''Franchise/IncredibleHulk'': You get to drive a Jeep with Hulk in the back seat. Manufactured by Kiddie's in the late 1990s.
* ''Franchise/{{Superman}}'': From Jolly Roger. With Superman stopping the train you're in.

* ''Franchise/XMen'': One of Wolverine in a disproportionately tiny Blackbird, manufactured by Kiddie's in the late 1990s.

* In ''Series/MrBean'' episode ''Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean'', Bean's hijinks end getting him saddled with a lost baby, which he looks after in between trying to enjoy the amusement park he's at and getting the kid back to his mum. He discovers an interesting solution by putting the kid in a coin operated ride, then proceeds to dump multiple coins in it to keep the ride going for much longer than usual, to the point that an angry line of mothers and their children has formed.
