* The evil genius of JonathanCoulton's "Skullcrusher Mountain" has his assistant Scarface, whose description is textbook Igor.

* On ''BlackBooks'', Bill Bailey turned into an Igor briefly. Complete with lisp and hunch.

* TheIgor appears in a few ''[[ComicStrip/TheFarSide Far Side]]'' cartoons. In one of them, the Doctor is scowling at him for having brought the wrong size wrench.

* Grimer from ''SonicTheComic'' is an exemplary Mad Doctor's Assistant to BigBad Dr. Robotnik. As well as the usual Igor traits (hideous goblin-like appearance, frail build, intense loyalty, referring to his boss as "Master", etc) he was also something of a HypercompetentSidekick, being the primary designer of many of Robotnik's most dangerous war machines and personally coming to Robotnik's rescue on several occasions. His finest moment came when he was jailed after Robotnik was apparently destroyed by the Chaos Emeralds, where he proved he was a [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]] ChessMaster and managed to manipulate the heroes easily from his prison and save his master.

** Fan made game ''HunchbackTheLurching'' is also designed with The Igor in mind.
* The TabletopRolePlayingGame ''MyLifeWithMaster'' casts all the players as Igors.

* Also parodied in ''Film/ReturnOfTheKillerTomatoes'', sequel to ''AttackOfTheKillerTomatoes''. Dr. Putrid T. Gangrene the MadScientist (portrayed most lovingly by John Astin) is annoyed by the mere presence of his assistant Igor, who is a blond, buff, and tanned surfer-dude who wants to be a TV News Anchor.

* The trope makers were Fritz, Frankenstein's sidekick in Universal's ''[[Film/{{Frankenstein 1931}} Frankenstein]]'' and [[Creator/BelaLugosi Ygor]], the [[TheManTheyCouldntHang broken-necked]] character from the sequel, ''Film/SonOfFrankenstein''.

* ''Film/VictorFrankenstein'': Played with; Igor starts off the film with a physical deformity and he does become Victor's assistant, but his personality is very different than what this trope is normally associated with. Igor is Victor's near-equal in terms of his intelligence, so their master-servant dynamic is downplayed--the movie instead presents them as mentor and protégé. Moreover, after Victor corrects Igor's crooked back, the latter looks completely normal.

* In ''Film/EverythingYouAlwaysWantedToKnowAboutSex'', there is a segment with a ''{{Frankenstein}}'' parody. The deformed assistant of the mad scientist is even named "Igor".

* The butler and maid from ''Film/{{Transylvania 6-5000}}'' were both hunchbacks, and a married couple whose son had an even more extreme hunch. [[spoiler: Or so it seemed; really, all three of them were faking to conform to this trope's groveling-hunchbacked-servant expectations.]]

* ''Film/VictorFrankenstein'' is told from Igor (Creator/DanielRadcliffe)'s POV as he helps his friend with a science experiment. This Igor seems to be normal aside from being pale and a bit melancholy.

* In ''{{Narbonic}}'', most respectable mad scientists have henchmen. It's just the way things are done. Dave even jokes that his boss should call him [[http://www.webcomicsnation.com/users/narbonic/120104had_their.jpg Igor]]. * ''{{Nosfera}}'' has the adorible Iggy, the man-flea.

* Boris, the [[NonStandardCharacterDesign inexplicably out of place]] limping hunchbacked medieval hangman in ''Film/BlazingSaddles''. What a medieval hangman is doing in a ''Western'' can be attributed to RuleOfFunny. He later shows up in ''Film/RobinHoodMenInTights'', where he fits the aesthetic somewhat better.

* Lugnut in ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated''.

* In ''JibberJabber'', several of the boys' fantasies involved Jibber as 'Dr. Jibberstein' with Jabber as his loyal hunchbacked assistant 'Jabgor'.

Igor is the {{Sidekick}} and manservant to a MadScientist. He's an absolute toady, loyal to a fault, and has no problem doing unsanitary scut-work (such as GraveRobbing) for his genius master, who is always addressed as "[[TheMaster Master]]," sometimes with an impressive lisp. He'll typically be a hunchback, dwarf, or even some small variety of monster. {{Evil Sorcerer}}s can substitute a tiny imp or demon. A [[{{Main/Uberwald}} vague European accent]] and/or a Peter Lorre impression (despite Lorre's not having played that sort of role until late in his dotage) round out the vocal category.

* ''VideoGame/TheUltimateHauntedHouse'' has [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous Igor Stravinsky]], Dr. Synthesis' beleaguered assistant.
