In it, the tomboy Yuko rarely messes with anyone on purpose, being a by-and-by GenkiGirl who's left to react to a lot of madcap antics. Utena, however, is [[BigGood always affable]] and [[PluckyGirl overall sweet]] around the [[ExtremeDoormat emotionally isolated]] Anthy, which over the course of the series is what helps develop their friendship into something more genuine. Berry being a business-running geek and Agent Martinez a serious government agent. The third is Courtney, who acts as one of the primary antagonists for a few episodes, and is known for [[IJustWantToBeBeautiful becoming obsessed with her beauty]], wearing fancy dresses, and relying on manipulation and control far more than anything. [[spoiler:It's a bit zig-zagged toward the end, when it's revealed that Courtney isn't just a spoiled WickedStepmother, but rather a mechanically-minded genius who invented the battle machines and made Tank fall in love with her for being so fiery and tough.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse'' has two sets of such characters. Luna Loud is an aspiring rockstar NiceGirl, while Lori Loud is a BigSisterBully who enjoys teen magazines and nail polish. Then, there are the PolarOppositeTwins, Lana and Lola. The former being a kindly WrenchWench who enjoys playing in the mud, and the latter of which is an aspiring pageant queen, and a BrattyHalfPint.

** From the sixth season, both Jasmine and Sky are athletically inclined, with Jasmine being an Outback Survivalist and Sky being an aspiring gymnast, and are both some of the nicest contestants of their season. By contrast, main villain Sugar is a pageant queen and is also rude, a complete slob, and willing to win by any means necessity.

This is trope is quite common in stories set in high school where the AlphaBitch is very feminine while the main heroine is very likely to be tomboyish to some degree. It also can be found in ActionGirl-centric media with female villains, where the heroine is a noble, tomboyish warrior, and the villain is a feminine [[TheBaroness baroness]].
