** KILLBOSS is particular among [[OurDemonsAreDifferent Devils]] not just by being especially big and strong even for a Red-mask, but because he's been smart and patient enough to learn an actual martial art instead of relying on pure strength and natural abilities. He can fight strategically even without counting that, and with it all he beats the stuffing out of a trained Allison, requiring 82 White Chain to drive him off - and even then he proves smart enough to throw the towel when confronted with an angel.

** Aku, the main antagonist of the series, also qualifies. He is a dark creature wielding several dark magical powers and abilities, but also turns out to be quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat, has years of experience to back up his powers, and commands an entire army of monsters. Unfortunately for him, he turns out to be not on the same level of skill than Jack anytime they fight.

** Leafa/Suguha is an odd example. In the context of the series, she actually falls into this in real life. She's a national level kendo champion, which gives her impressive physical abilities on top of the [[IKnowMortalKombat combat skill that all her gamer friends possess]]. Interestingly in-game she's actually WeakButSkilled as her stats are much lower than Kirito, but her real-life talents in kendo completely make up for this. In ''Ordinal Scale'' she had to be sidelined for most of the film because she would have resolved the plot immediately compared to her friends who are lacking in physical attributes.

It helps that he is one of the only characters who is shown devoting time and effort to training instead of getting by on experience and raw power alone, as he is seen in his personal gym with weights and a heavy bag. This fits his character, having had to work hard his whole life to get anywhere.
