* In a rare example of the protagonist, Rapunzel from ''Disney/{{Tangled}}'' seems to have a small lisp.
* King Candy from ''Disney/WreckItRalph'' speaks with a lisp, although not constantly.

** Mr. Tulip in ''Discworld/TheTruth'' has one due to strict upbringing. When he swears (or tries to) all you get is "-ing".

* OlderThanFeudalism: While not present in adaptions of the stories in question, ''Literature/TheBible'' notes that Moses had a terrible speech impediment.

* ''Animation/HappyHeroes'' has a penguin for one of its minor villains, introduced in episode 40 of Season 2, who has such a noticeable stutter that there's a stutter ''built into his name'', "P-p-p-p-penguin M-m-monster".

When Prime Minister Kim Campbell attached his disability, not only did he become a 3-term Canadian Prime Minister but he also sent the Progressive Conservative Party to the ''Main/KarmicDeath Trash-Heap of Canadian Politics''.
