WebAnimation/WolfSongTheMovie: the cast are all wolves, yet humans only get mentioned twice overall. Domesticated dogs also exist, with two in starring roles, but are changed into wolves not long into the film. The conflict isn't even driven by humans, at least that we know, instead being between a bunch of wolves who are trying to fight a hellhound invasion, and said hellhounds, together with wolves of their own who they have roped in. Naturally, fights, when they do occur (and there's a lot of them), are often a bloody affair, even without direct human influence.

* The live-action ''Film/SonicTheHedgehog2020'' movie [[HumanFocusedAdaptation takes place in the human world]], with Sonic being pretty much the only FunnyAnimal character, apart from a brief appearance of Longclaw the Owl and an echidna tribe in the opening scene [[spoiler:and Tails in TheStinger.]] [[Film/SonicTheHedgehog2 The sequel]] adds Knuckles [[spoiler:and Shadow.]]

* ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' fits here. Naturally, the Pokemon, most of which are essentially animals with ElementalPowers, feature prominently, but the human characters are just as important. Indeed, the relationship between Pokemon and their trainers is a recurring theme throughout the series.

* ''Literature/TheRedVixenAdventures'' is a SpaceOpera focusing on the Foxen, a race of aliens that closely resemble [[UsefulNotes/{{Furry}} anthropomorphic foxes]]. Humans appear in this universe, but aren't the main characters.

* Similar to ''Animal Farm'', ''Literature/CharlottesWeb'' (alongside [[WesternAnimation/CharlottesWeb two]] [[Film/CharlottesWeb feature film adaptations]] and a 2003 direct-to-video sequel) is entirely focused on farm animals at the Zuckerman farm (mainly Wilbur and Charlotte's relationship). The only human that plays a supporting role is Fern Arable while the Zuckermans and Fern's brother are minor characters. The 2003 sequel also uses the same approach since it's mainly focused on Wilbur and [[SweetSheep Cardigan's]] [[InterspeciesFriendship friendship]] [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer after getting reject]] [[BlackSheep from his flock]] with Fern's support on their relationship.

Come the DiscOneFinalBoss of ''VideoGame/SolatoroboRedTheHunter'', however, [[spoiler:the game's protagonist discovers they have a human-looking SuperMode. The second half of the game then has more human-looking characters showing up as major antagonists, before it's eventually revealing that the series' setting was EarthAllAlong outright.]]

* Similarly, ''WesternAnimation/{{Dinosaur}}'' has dinosaurs and prehistoric lemurs as main characters, as it also takes place before humans.
