* ''WesternAnimation/AliceInWonderland'': [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen The Queen of Hearts]] is no stranger to ordering decapitations left and right for any sorry person who dares trigger her temper. After being framed by the Cheshire Cat for humiliating Her Highness during the croquet game, Alice is almost subject to decapitation herself. Thankfully, the King of Hearts interjects on her behalf and convinces his wife to give her a fair trial. However, at the trial, the Queen is ready to give the girl her sentence. When Alice tries to explain that she must have a verdict first, the Queen shouts, "Sentence, first! Verdict, afterward." Again, the King saves Alice's neck (and her head) by convincing the Queen to see some witnesses before carrying out the sentence.
