* The sixth ''Film/HarryPotter'' film, ''Film/HarryPotterAndTheHalfBloodPrince'', was originally slated for November 21, 2008, but Warner Bros. moved it to July 15, 2009. ** ''[[Film/HarryPotterAndTheOrderOfThePhoenix Order of the Phoenix]]'' was to be released in November 2006, but it got moved to July 2007.
* The ''Film/{{Hellboy|2019}}'' reboot was previously scheduled to be released on January 11, 2019. It was moved to April 12, 2019.
* ''Film/{{The Hunt|2020}}'' suffered a notorious one. Originally set for September 27, 2019, the film's trailer garnered extremely vicious reactions from U.S. right-wing media, accusing the film -- a riff on ''Literature/TheMostDangerousGame'' that satirized both sides of the political spectrum -- of being a dangerous political tool intended to glorify the murder of conservatives. Even then-President UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump got in on the act, condemning "Liberal Hollywood" for making the film. Paired with two high-profile mass shooting events in August 2019, with the shooter expressing a political bent in each, Creator/{{Universal}} suspended advertizing for the film and eventually removed it from the schedule, later redating it for March 13, 2020.
