* Roy Mustang from ''FullmetalAlchemist''. He has special gloves that create sparks easily, with trasmutation circles that can transform air into pure oxygen, a combination that allows him to create fireballs at will.

* In KazeNoStigma the whole Kannagi family (except Kazuma) use fire magic due to the fact that the first Kannagi made a contract with the spirit king of fire.
** Additionally, Ayano fits the personality aspects of a fire user to a T, featuring a {{Tsundere}}, HotBlooded, and FieryRedhead triple threat.

* Roy Mustang from ''FullmetalAlchemist''.
** Though really, any alchemist with those gloves, or even just some of that material, could do it - he just trademarked it when he became a State Alchemist.
*** Not really. The material only creates the sparks, the alchemic reaction was [[spoiler: discovered by Mr. Hawkeye (and it's implied the research took him ages)]]. He never [[NoPlansNoPrototypeNoBackup even wrote it down]], [[spoiler: apart from the tattoo on Riza's back, and Roy burned that]], so Roy is the only person left who knows the secret. And he doesn't even ''need'' the gloves, they're just convenient.
*** Note that the gloves have the required transmutation circle on them. If any layman gets their hands on them, they can create fire from alchemy. Just don't expect them to be able to control the flames well, or do any other related transmutations.
**** Not really. The [[spoiler: tattoo on Riza's back]] had a TON of writing in it, which one would need to properly activate the circle, by remembering it as opposed to having it written on/around the circle, see Human Transmutation, Silver Alchemist, Crimson Alchemist circles. That is what truly makes the circle Roy's and Roy's alone.
*** Of course, the unbelievably convoluted explanation [[AdaptationDistillation got dropped from the anime]].
*** Essentially, anyone could, with the right transmutation circle, transmute air into pure oxygen and hydrogen necessary to produce a flame blast. Roy's training, though, lets him do it without blowing himself up, which is the real trick. This tends to be the case with any fighting alchemist -- anyone can transmute local materials into a weapon, but only the Silver Alchemist knows how to make chains and swords burst out of the walls and floor with deadly speed and accuracy.

In fact all the Uchiha clan members have fire as an essential element other than the individual element each person may possess, which is [[ShockAndAwe Lightning]] for Sasuke and [[MakingASplash Water]] for [[AllThereInTheManual Itachi]]. With their special Mangekyo Sharigan eyes, they can use Amaterasu, a special black fire which can burn regular fire.
