I feel it's important to not accidentally mislead people. There are peahens with male plumage, though they would probably more accurately be described as intersex. Regardless, there are peafowl out there who display male plumage despite not being male.


This is common on girls in fiction, [[AnimalGenderBender despite the peacock flared train being a feature of male peafowl]] in RealLife[[note]]females, called peahens, can flare out their tail feathers, but it's not for mating, and it's nowhere nearly as grand as the males[[/note]], but such a thing on a human guy isn't entirely unheard of. This may sometimes make a guy appear like TheDandy, CampGay, or CampStraight, but not always.
