He also as a prank spray paints J.D.'s sneakers red, in reference to the ruby red slippers. Dr. Cox calls J.D. "Dorothy" and his only goal now is to get out of the hospital so that he can spend what is supposed to be his day off at home. Eliot as the Scarecrow (needing brains to give a lecture); Turk as the Tin Man (needing a heart for surgery - but also empathy with the couple whose son might be a donor); and Carla as the Lion (needing the courage to become a parent). Other characters were more mix'n'match, with both Dr Cox and Dr Kelso as the Wizard, and a one-off gag with Jordan as the Wicked Witch. * In "The Wonderful Kingdom of Claus" by Music/BobRivers and Twisted Radio on their album ''I Am Santa Claus'', Dorothy and Toto visit the mall to meet SantaClaus, only to be at first turned away by his elves. Dorothy says that she has a gold card and the elf comments "That's a card of a different color!" and lets her in. She and Toto are met by a booming voice declaring himself to be Santa Claus, but it is eventually revealed to be a skinny guy. He explains that Mrs. Claus put him on the [=SlimFast=] diet. "I used to have a belly that shakes like a bowl-ful of jelly. Now I just have shakes. One for breakfast, one for lunch, and a sensible skim milk and cookie for dinner. I can't stand it." He reveals that he and the elves no longer make toys at his workshop at the North Pole because they got undercut by the malls, and so he's just a middle-man who delivers toys now. He and his elves then launch into a parody of "If I only had a brain." "We thought we made it all, from Barbie dolls to rubber balls / But Betsy-Wetsy took a fall. / They marked her down! / She's at the mall!" After the song ends, Dorothy laments his fate, but just then a savior shows up, hooking Santa up with a fax machine and pager (yeah, it's pretty dated). Santa and his operation are saved, and Dorothy and Toto are left to lament how now he'll easily be able to check up on who's naughty and who's nice.

* Before ''The Muppets' Wizard of Oz'', there was a ''Wizard of Oz'' medley in ''The Muppets Go to the Movies'' with Miss Piggy as Dorothy, Scooter as the Scarecrow, Gonzo as the Tin Man, and Fozzie as the Lion. The story involved a girl named Dottie winding up in an Oz-like land after a tornado, and the scarecrow and tin man were a department store mannequin and robot, respectively (the lion was still a lion, except he talked like Yoda), and they set off to meet the "Wonderful Wishy Woz" as directed by the Fairy Odd Mother. Doctor Mobius is a combination of the Wizard of Oz and the Wicked Witch, being the primary antagonist and as it turns out a much less intimidating figure than he first appears [[spoiler:since as it turns out, he's a senile AntiVillain who bears you no ill-will and is attempting to stop his former colleagues from turning the world outside into their testing grounds]]. Similarly, Mobius reveals that the [[MacGuffin the three pieces of technology you you had to collect before facing him]] can serve as the organs needed by the Think Tank (the Stealth Suit represents the heart, the X-2 Antenna represents the brain, and the Sonic Emitter represents the spine), so in a way, you basically have what you need all along. He then recounts how this is similar to a story he remembers of a [[TakeThat gang of murderous thugs who continued massacring all in their way despite this]].
