* ''Anime/RedLine'': {{Badass Driver}}s JP and Sonoshee wear cool boots with stylish zippers and bulbous toes. Several other racers wear distinctive footwear, and their feet dominate intense shoots as they stomp pedals to metal. It's like the foot equivalent of {{Gainaxing}}.

** There's a case in which ''ganguro'' girls were attacked [[spoiler: (fatally, in one occasion)]], and one of the hints was how all of them wore ''really'' pretty white platform boots, which were very popular back then. [[spoiler: It turns out that the dead girl ran over and killed a little boy ''because'' she was wearing said boots while driving, so the kid's maddened father started chasing after girls who wore similar footwear to beat them up in revenge. And one of these girls was ''Sonoko'', who had nothing to do with the case but had exactly the same boots on - it took Conan's deduction skills and a huge BigDamnHeroes from Megure to stop the madman and rescue her.]]

* ''Anime/KillLaKill'': the outfits of the Kamui include very nice high heels, including Lady Satsuki and Ryoko Matoi [[spoiler: as well as REVOCS President Ragyo Kiryuin]]. Ryoko's main outfit also includes a very nice pair of white sneakers, both Nui Harime and Nonon Jakuzure have very nice boots on their outfits (especially with Nonon's Marching Band Regalia).
* An early story by Naoko Takeuchi, ''Miss Rain'', has a beautiful pair of shoes as its MacGuffin. They belong to the mysterious SchoolIdol "Miss Rain", who turns out to be the junior high student Rena Kuramitsu; her ''senpai'' Kei Furukawa sees her drop her shoes as she runs away from a ball, then realises who she is, and reveals that Rena is "Miss Rain" by having her put them on...

* The characters in the ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' anime have some very nice-looking shoes. The original series has Ash's black, red and white sneakers, mentioned prominently in the song "Type: Wild." Misty has her red sneakers with lightning bolts on them, and Brock has his navy sneakers. Gary has his strap-on boots, and even Team Rocket has some. Jessie has her high-heeled boots and James has his boots.

Rei/Mars's red CombatStilettos (which [[AllWomenLoveShoes shoes lover]] Creator/NaokoTakeuchi states as her favorite), Michiru/Neptune's blue/green pumps with laces and Hotaru/Saturn's elaborate purple boots with black laces are among the nicest.

*** Some girls have special 'fusions' of their original shoes and Lily's main ankle boots; color (and length as seen with Dawn's fusion) come from the other pair in the equation. Confirmed so far are a dark purple for Ayane, a studded pair with pink soles and spikier grey heels for Marnie, and the aforementioned pink knee-high for Dawn.

** Then there's Rosa Copeland, who has a serious collection of strictly-lace-up thigh-high ballet boots. Justified in that they were the heels her ability to easily handle wearing them despite her serious lack of experience with high heels in general manifested in. She actually foresaw the possibility of a Rainbow Angel Series mandating a collection of thigh-high ballet boots named for her and had the designs be strictly-zip-up to better accomodate two lockable straps over the zippers. At least she prefers to be able to bend her knees in her pairs...
** ...because former Dark Vector girl Doven especially loves hers too tight for that. Jet actually planned for that aspect by banning ballet boots from being wearable with a CleavageWindow-sporting catsuit based on her old Cipher uniform's bodysuit, which already had a requirement for pink thigh-high boots to begin with.

** After her non-wrestling appearance at the 2018 Royal Rumble, Khaos has taken to giving any version of WWE's Alexa Bliss some shoe based on the black wedge pumps.

* ''Film/{{Cinderella 2015}}'' has the gleaming crystal-like glass slippers, which also have a golden butterfly on the toes.

* In ''Series/HowIMetYourMother'', Ted meets a girl at a wedding reception, but they use only nicknames. ** In one episode, the detectives get a search warrant to look for a pair of shoes that left a distinctive footprint at the crime scene. They don't find them until the suspect comes home wearing them. The last line of the episode is Detective Stabler saying: "Nice shoes".

He was so attached to the shoes that he even wore them at his wedding (his groomsmen wore similar shoes but with the colors were reversed, making them white with black flames). In the music video for "Music/{{Miserable}}" after the giant woman eats him alive she spits out one of these signature shoes.

** ''VideoGame/PokemonSwordAndShield'' again feature players having nice shoes to start out with, with not only being able to buy more from the shops in the Galar region; but the NonUniformUniform of the Gym Challenge also includes many kinds of high tops [[ColorCodedForYourConvenience that match the color scheme of each gym leader]].
