* ''VideoGame/{{Pentiment}}'': Sister Zdena is a downplayed modestly-dressed example, but she nonetheless stands out from the other nuns at Kiersau Abbey through her distinctly un-chaste reputation. The first time you talk to her, she flirts with [[PlayerCharacter Andreas]] by implicitly asking if he had sex the night prior because she wants "something to think about during divine reading." Later on, it's possible to have an OptionalSexualEncounter with her (and there's even an achievement for doing so). While her lustfulness is normally treated light-heartedly, the latter event ends up PlayedForDrama the next time Andreas talks to her years later in Act 2 when she reveals [[spoiler:he got her pregnant, which would have gotten her defrocked and disowned by her family had she not undergone an abortion.]]

* Matilda Simmons from Episode 17 of the ''Manga/BlackButler'' anime. While several of the nuns put their hands on Ciel to undress him, in a hardly innocent manner, it is Matilda whom Sebastian charms and has affairs with, none too quietly, in order to learn more about the church they are investigating. It's heavily implied that the rest of the clergy are quite "unclean" themselves, despite the church's very harsh process of atonement for filth and sin.

* ''Matrix'' by Lauren Groff takes place in a medieval abbey. Sex between nuns is a semi-open secret, and some nuns form clandestine relationships. Notably, the nun in charge of the infirmary develops a reputation for offering special relief to her patients. The protagonist of the story, Marie, comes to the belief that sex amongst women still leaves virginity intact and is thus acceptable. Sex between men and women, and especially pregnancy, is still treated as an incredibly serious offense that could imperil the reputation (and thus safety) of the entire community. Violators are subject to intense corporal punishment and banishment.
