* The warp-spasm from CelticMythology is all this. Think the IncredibleHulk, [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuchulainn#The_Cattle_Raid_of_Cooley only uglier]].
** Incidentally, that article is talking about a hero that you may know better as [[FateStayNight Lancer]]. One wonders why that didn't ever pop up there...
*** Lancer did mention at one point that he [[CanonFodder could have been summoned as Berserker]].

* Several ''DungeonsAndDragons'' prestige classes do this. The Alienist is very explicitly Lovecraftian, as it involves abandoning their sanity, summoning [[EldritchAbomination outsider beings]], and modifying their bodies with otherworldly effects. There's also the Vermin Lord ("Turn into an insect") and the Cancer Mage (how does "Sentient Tumour" sound as a superpower?)

* Cronenberg uses this a lot, such as in ''The Brood''. While Psychoplasmics isn't ''necessarily'' a superpower, the ability to birth homunculi from your traumatic memories who end up subconsciously doing your bidding might be considered useful, if fucked up.

* In Season 3 episode "Earshot", [[BuffyTheVampireSlayer Buffy]] fears she might get a Lovecraftian superpower after touchin demon blood. Instead she got PsychicPowers, though with great power came great [[BlessedWithSuck suckiness]] that got her nearly insane.

*** Longrunning 2000 AD strip Slaine (being a fusion of Celtic mythology, Rober E Howard novels and the good old fashioned, classic 2000 AD, punk aesthetic) has it's titular hero (an appropriate fusion of Cuchulainn and Conan, with a punk aesthetic) warp-spasms similarly.

* Vorte from ''Hitmen For Destiny'' can puke up a sticky liquid and use "deadly headspikes". Also at some point [[spoiler:Bianca grows a tentacle on her back]].

** The ''Pathfinder'' campaign setting offers sorcerers different bloodlines. One of them, the Aberrant bloodline, gives the practitioner slightly 'wiggy' anatomy (which gets progressively more so as he gets higher in level).

* The Denarians from TheDresdenFiles are often [[MindRape Mind Raped]] by [[FallenAngel fallen angels]] and have the ability to transform into a [[OneWingedAngel demonic form]]. These forms are often a bit disturbing, the best example being the one who transforms into a giant mutated praying mantis. That bleeds praying mantises.

* [[{{XForce}} The Spike]]'s mutant ability (especially the film version) allows him to quickly sprout and regrow hollow horns from his wrists, which he then ''throws at people''.

** Bloodstone of the Sinister Circle is a [[Whatevermancy "hemokinetic"]]. That is, he has telekinetic control over blood. His usual first move in any fight with a hero is to gather up some nearby blood to use as a weapon, and he [[CompleteMonster gathers it from any nearby innocent bystander]] who is unfortunate to be close enough to become an unwilling donor.

* Several varieties of ''{{Exalted}}'s'' [[VoluntaryShapeshifting Lunar]], [[OmnicidalManiac Abyssal]], and Infernal charms give body-warping and pestilence-spreading combat perks.

* Generation X foe Emplate had mouths on his hands that let him cannibalize mutant bone marrow.

** And perhaps one of the tamest. At least Bruce maintains a totally humanoid form.

* In ''[[RanmaOneHalf Ranma 1/2]]'' the character of Pantyhose (Yes, really) Tarou is bad enough with his ability to turn into a giant Bull/Yeti-Thing in his first appearence. Just to show how BadAss (or JerkAss more like) he goes and mutates his body more to add tentacles (thankfully not [[NaughtyTentacles naughty]] ones though).

** In the XmenEvolution series, the character who inspired him, Spyke, [[spoiler: eventually becomes completely covered in armadillo like plates which he [[IJustWantToBeNormal can't get rid of]]. Although on the upshot, he gains the ability to launch spikes that are ''[[IncendiaryExponent on f]] [[KillItWithFire ire]]'']].

** Aside from the Corlata's ability to shapeshift in a particularly gruesome way, one of them aparently had the power to exude an explosive fluid from his hands.

** ''{{GURPS}} CelticMythology'' also includes the above mentioned warp-spasm. All Fomorians [[HalfHumanHybrids and their descendants]] also recieve a RedRightHand that gives them the ability to horrify opponents.

* In ''{{Akira}}'', Tetsuo manifests this trope in the Olympic Stadium when Colonel Shikishima tries to neutralize him; the flesh around the stub where Tetsuo's arm was removed shoots out in a massive bloody tentacle that attacks the Colonel. [[ItGetsWorse But then]], later in the scene, Tetsuo gets shot by Kaneda's laser weapon. You see, Tetsuo is in so much pain that this trope suddenly combines with SuperpowerMeltdown. Naturally, Tetsuo's Lovecraftian Superpower Meltdown is [[HighOctaneNightmareFuel just as bad as you can imagine it]].

* Alucard from {{Hellsing}}, when he takes on worthy opponents.

** Let's not forget Spyke's own probable inspiration from the comics, Marrow, as her powers are virtually identical (except for that last one). Well, okay, she displayed a level of control over he abilities that Spyke never did.
** And then there's Tusk, who was exactly like this, but also with little Mini-Me sort of things that could jump out of his back, for some reason.

* Corrupted spellcasters in ''TheBannedAndTheBanished'' are linked to animals, but with [[VoluntaryShapeshifting one exception]] who's [[AntiHero halfway to being a hero anyways]] the link is always perverse in some way. The ''least'' disgusting villainous spellcaster gives birth to carnivorous spiders, and they scale up from there all the way to twins who grow pustules that explode into rats.

* TheBannedAndTheBanished features a wide variety of magic users. When the BigBad warps these individuals to his cause, then their original more mundane magical gifts tend to take on a Lovecraftian air.

* The Denarians from TheDresdenFiles are often [[MindRape Mind Raped]] by fallen angels and can take on many many horrible forms.

* Seth Brundle in {{The Fly}} gains the ability to wallcrawl, super strength, and even vomit a corrosive enzyme to dissolve food (or enemies). Unfortunatly, he gained these abilities when he accidentally fused his genes with a fly, and slowly mutates into a grotesque giant insect/human hybrid. {{Blessed with suck}} indeed.
