General example and Troper Tales

* Having Mulder's sister turn up is common in ''Series/TheXFiles'' fanfics. One troper read one [[spoiler:in which it turns out Monica Reyes started life as Samantha Mulder]], and is sure that one wasn't unique.

* At the end of the opera ''Theatre/IlTrovatore'' an old gypsy reveals to the villain that he has just killed his long-lost brother. Since this is the last line of the libretto (and there are just 2 bars of music left to go), the baritone is reduced to making a face at the audience to express his dismay as the curtain comes down. And this troper has seen some truly ridiculous grimacing. Verdi must have been under deadline pressure.
