Removing Ranma fanon from this page. Ranma is *not* bound by any promise to keep Ryoga's secret, has no problem revealing it to anyone but Akane (and even then he attempts to and is stopped from doing so by Ryoga at least twice), and he never drops any hints. This trope really doens't apply to Ranma 1/2. Ranma never feels any angst over keeping Ryoga's secret.
