** [[PlayerCharacter Alear]] is generally [[NiceGuy nothing but polite and friendly to their allies]], but they have an initially strained relationship with Nel, a new character they meet in the [[DownloadableContent Fell Xenologue]]. Nel herelf is an example, as while she's kind to her brother Nil([[spoiler:both the original and Rafal]]) as well a her suborinates, the Four Winds, sh is rather cold to Alear for the first half of the campaign. As a result, there is tension between the two, with Alear calling her out for her attitude, as well as some of her actions, such as [[spoiler:killing the royals of the alternate Elyos(which turns out to be justified due to the fact that all of them are Corrupted).]] It turns out that Nel's attitude is because [[spoiler:she was in love with the Alear of her world, who died some time ago, and she does not wish to see Alear as a ReplacementGoldfish for her world's Alear.]] She and Alear get onto friendlier terms later on in the campaign, and can work through their issues in their supports.

Added DiffLines:

* ''VideoGame/OctopathTraveler'': Alfyn is [[NiceGuy one of the nicest travelers]], but is uncharacteristically rude to fellow apothecary Ogen, dismissing him as a "sham" after seeing him refuse to treat a dying man named Miguel. He eases up after seeing that Ogen's skills are genuine, as well as realizing that [[spoiler:unlike him, Ogen noticed that Miguel was a thief and a murderer]]. By the end of his storyline, he [[spoiler:saves Ogen's life by curing his illness]].
