** Creator/JustineBateman, sister of Creator/JasonBateman, plays a prostitute who propositions Jason's character. It's also played with, where Jason's character believes that Justine's character is his sister -- which turns out to be false. Appropriately enough, Michael comes out with this line.

** The original plan was to play the trope straight, but neither of the Batemans were comfortable with that.

* Averted at the last minute with ''Film/BonnieAndClyde'': Creator/WarrenBeatty initially cast Creator/ShirleyMacLaine as Bonnie, but replaced her when he opted to play Clyde himself. The reason? He didn't want to have to kiss his sister. (Yes, they're siblings -- in ''this'' life.)

* Music/Pimpinela's members are siblings. In the song ''Olvídame y pega la vuelta'', they portray a couple breaking up.

* In the [=LatAm=] (re)dub of ''[[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Revival of Evangelion]]'', Shinji is voiced by Creator/VictorUgarte, and due to ExecutiveMeddling, the voice of Rei (Circe Luna) is replaced by one of Victor's sisters, Gaby Ugarte. Which becomes rather awkward during that scene where Shinji enters Rei's room just after she's finished bathing. [[spoiler:InUniverse, she is a clone of his mother after all, and sort-of a sister (raised by the same father). So it's not like it was less awkward to begin with.]]

* In the Latin American dub of ''Series/SabrinaTheTeenageWitch'', Creator/VictorUgarte voices Sabrina's love interest Harvey during seasons 2-4. Sabrina herself is voiced from the second season onwards by Víctor's youngest sister Xóchitl.

* Weird sort-of example from ''Series/{{Degrassi}}'': Craig's little sister is played by Alex Steele. Alex is the real-life sister of Cassie Steele, who plays Manny. Thus, some viewers were {{squick}}ed when Craig and Manny started hooking up. Lampshaded in a season two episode when Craig and Manny have their first date and Craig later says Manny reminds him of his little sister.

* Inverted in ''Series/DoctorWho''. Georgia Moffett (the real-life daughter of Peter Davison, the Fifth Doctor) was cast as Jenny, the genetic daughter of the Doctor (played by David Tennant) in "The Doctor's Daughter". Tennant and Moffett later got married.

* In ''Series/HopeAndFaith'' one episode has the two sisters pretend to be a lesbian couple.

* On ''Series/TheOtherTwo'' Brooke steps in to dance in her brother's video, only to be horrified that she has to grind in front of him in a skimpy outfit. She doesn't, and she also keeps reminding the other dancers that her brother is only 13-years-old.

* A third Brazilian case: as recalled by Caio Guarnieri when he received his sister Isabella in his Youtube channel, while dubbing a Russian show, Caio was recording a passionate love scene, and then when he recognized the already recorded voice of Isabella, he angrily asked how the dub directors had the guts to cast the two siblings as lovers.

* In the music video for "Stuck" by Stacie Orrico, her cheating boyfriend is played by her real-life cousin, actor Trevor Wright. He plays her love interest again in the video for "I Could Be the One."

* Loretta and Mirandos on ''WesternAnimation/MilesFromTomorrowland'' have had some light Main/ShipTease , eventually resulting in a kiss on the cheek where they both blush. They're voiced by Fiona Bishop and Ivy Bishop, who are sisters in real life.

** Also happens in "Making Dennis Reynolds A Murderer," where Dee insists on playing her brother's ex-wife in the reenactment.

* Justin and Alex from ''Series/WizardsOfWaverlyPlace'', who are brother and sister, pretend to be married and have three kids in the episode, "Max's Secret Girlfriend."

* In the ''Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries'' episode "[[Recap/StarTrekS1E13TheConscienceOfTheKing The Conscience of the King]]" a performance of ''{{Theatre/Macbeth}}'' features the title character and Lady Macbeth played by a father and his daughter.

* {{Downplayed}} in the ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'' short "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd0iTQNBrXA Mabel's Guide to Fashion]]," where Dipper is called on to briefly play "guy amazed at how good Mabel looks."

** PlayedWith and {{Downplayed}} in "Tales from the Public Domain," which [[UniversalAdaptorCast features the characters]] in the plot of ''Theatre/{{Hamlet}}.'' Bart plays Hamlet while Lisa is Ophelia, but her role is reduced to one scene with no romance angle.

* In the pornography industry, it is not uncommon for siblings, cousins, and parents/offspring to work in the business together, and sometimes even appear in the same production. "Performing" together, if you get the meaning, is less common but not unheard of in mainstream productions, though there seems to be some leeway given to [[{{Twincest}} twins]] and confirmed cousins and sisters (brothers in gay works as well, although they tend not to directly interact sexually). There is at least one confirmed instance where a well-known porn actress and a well-known porn actor were [[SurpriseIncest accidentally scheduled to do a scene together]], the director not being aware they were siblings -- obviously, the scene was not shot once the performers pointed this fact out. Such a screw-up is pretty much impossible in the mainstream porn industry today, since actors are notified before the casting and usually have a list who they do or don't want to work with (for reasons as simple as preventing HostilityOnTheSet). If the two actors are related in some way, it's deliberate. (Note: please do not add any names here, as while some relationships have been confirmed, many are simply made up for the sake of the fantasy and the performers are not actually related.)

* In ''Film/HighSchoolMusical'', it's said that Sharpay and Ryan always got the lead roles in all the productions before Troy and Gabriella, and one character remarks that if Sharpay could find a way to play both Romeo and Juliet, Ryan would be out of a job, so it's safe to assume at least one of these would be a romantic pairing.
