It's time for Monday Night Raw!" Both "Yeah yeah!" and "It's (name of day). You know what that means?" were Harper's {{Catchphrase}}s, "Yeah yeah!" while in the ring, and "It's (name of day). You know what that means?" while on Twitter.

** The sequel ''WesternAnimation/Rio2'' is dedicated to Presley, a Spix's Macaw from Colorado.

* Some covers of Marvel Comics published in September 2020 bore a dedication banner to Creator/ChadwickBoseman, the Film/BlackPanther star who died of colon cancer the month prior.

** Following the death of Creator/ChadwickBoseman on August 28, 2020, ABC pre-empted its Sunday night GameShow block to show ''Film/BlackPanther2018'' without commercials, followed by an ABC News tribute special.

* After Dan Wheldon was killed in a massive pile-up in Lap 11 of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar World Championship at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the race was abandoned and the remaining 19 cars did 5 laps at pace speed in tribute, while the pylon was blanked except for Wheldon's no. 77 and bagpipe renditions of "Danny Boy" and "Amazing Grace" played over the P.A. system.

** The clipless review of ''Film/TheLastJedi'' was dedicated to Carrie Fisher, who had died earlier that week. Critic reads a Princess Leia comic book in TheStinger.

* Website/{{Neopets}}: On August 28, 2013, every player who visited Coltzan's Shrine received the new Petpet [[https://items.jellyneo.net/item/54643/ Sparky]], which strongly resembles the pre-existing [[https://items.jellyneo.net/item/5019/ Spardel]] but with the addition of angel wings. This was in honor of the original inspiration for the Spardel, former official artist Claire Hummel's pet Boston Terrier of the same name, which had passed away the day prior.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Rio}}'' has a dedication to Carlos Saldanha's father.

* ''WebVideo/YuGiOhTheAbridgedSeries'':
** Episode 47 was dedicated to Creator/MaddieBlaustein, the voice of Solomon Muto in [[Anime/YuGiOh the original anime]].
** An early episode ends with a spoofed memorial to Tristan's original voice, which had spontaneously changed (with everyone but Tristan noticing). This references the point in the English dub when Tristan gets a new voice actor who doesn't make him sound like [[Series/BarneyAndFriends Barney the Dinosaur]]. In the next episode, however, Yami plays Monster Reborn to resurrect Tristan's original voice, and life goes on.
