Children are playful, so they often manage to use anything or anyone as a playground.
Human Jungle Gym is where children (or similar ones) play by hanging onto or clinging to the arms or legs of another person (usually an adult) who is larger than they are. Common human jungle gyms are [[GoodParents parental figures]], [[AllLovingHero all-loving heroes]], [[TheBigGuy big and strong people]], etc. If the aforementioned person is reluctant, HilarityEnsues.
This trope is often used to justify that those people who become human jungle gyms are [[FriendToAllChildren friends to all (or love) children]] or to show that ChildrenAreInnocent. Extra points, if said person is a GentleGiant, easily explaining why kids enjoy using them as a jungle gym and why the person is able to carry several children with ease. If the person in question happens to be an antagonist, they may be a HeroAntagonist of the NobleDemon and AffablyEvil variety, in which case they may have a HeelFaceTurn.
Compare ClingyChild (a child who is always near or holding the arms or legs of someone they trust, due their compassion, fear or shyness), which may overlap. Contrast WouldHurtAChild.
