* In Creator/{{Netflix}}'s ''Anastasia: Once Upon a Time'', UsefulNotes/GrigoriRasputin has magical powers and sends UsefulNotes/{{Anastasia|Nikolaevna Romanova}} [[TimeTravel forward in time]] to TheEighties through a portal to save her from the Bolshevik revolution.

** Moon Ray Vaughoof (now [[MeaningfulRename Prince Canticum Lunae Cahaya]]) is essentially the Codexverse's Ponified version of legendary Blues musician Music/StevieRayVaughan. Through a series of events that was the result of [[ForWantOfANail different circumstances and choices]], he first became an '[[{{Psychopomp Angel of Death]]', then became a 'prodigy' [[DeityOfHumanOrigin Alicorn god]] of Death, Temperance, Water, Forgiveness, and Prophecy. Later, after consuming a powerful divine drug created by Princess Voľná Láska and Joyous Freedom, he turned into a divine EldritchAbomination for a month before turning back to normal. But despite being cured of the drug, his divine nature was changed irrevocably by it, giving him intense pain when he tried [[HeroicWillpower resisting the changes]]. He turns into an eldritch god again for real once he realizes the cyclic nature of things and reconciling with his Prophecy domain.

* ''{{VideoGame/World Heroes}}'' series is about historical characters (as well some contemporary ones like [[Main/NoCelebritiesWereHarmed judoka Ryoko Tani and football player Johnny Maximum]] ) fighting against a great menace invoked by a time machine traveler, having all these famous characters their own powers, some of them being [[Main/ElementalPowers elemental]]. Essentially, this trope is about historical figures (or those heavily based on them) but with supernatural abilities that can be anything (or maybe loosely based on what they're best known for or stereotypes around their nationality). These superpowered historical figures don't even need to be part of a HistoricalFantasy to qualify, they can even exist in the modern-day!

* In ''ComicBook/TheAuthority'', The Doctor's past incarnations included Albert Einstein, Jesus Christ, and Grigori Rasputin.

** Music/StevieRayVaughan was a very talented guitarist who revived the stagnant Blues genre, and is now regarded as one of the most influential Blues musicians in history. The Codexverse takes it even further by having his {{Expy}}, Moon Ray Vaughoof, become first an [[{{Psychopomp}} Angel of Death]] after his helicopter accident, then an [[DeityOfHumanOrigin Alicorn]] [[TheAce 'prodigy']] after learning to forgive and let go of his past. He's also a skilled artist and [[TheShrink therapist]], a powerful [[PsychicPowers psychic]] and [[{{Seers}} Seer]], and is experienced with spotting signs of abuse/addiction in general, all which Stevie Ray doesn't have (ironically, Stevie Ray did show potential in art as a high school student, but ultimately chose to pursue music).

* ''{{Manga/Drifters}}'' has several magical historical figures such as Hijikata Toshizo being able to summon the fallen [[UsefulNotes/TheShinsengumi Shinsengumi]], UsefulNotes/Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova being AnIcePerson, and UsefulNotes/JoanOfArc having [[PlayingWithFire fire-based]] abilities.
