* Pick a SuperHero comic. ''Any'' super hero comic. It's one of the hallmarks of the genre. If you really have to narrow it down, anything written by [[Creator/JackKirby Jack "King" Kirby]] is this trope taken UpToEleven.

** ''Film/{{Star Trek III|The Search for Spock}}''. Creator/WilliamShatner vs. Creator/ChristopherLloyd: Figuratively, literally, and [[UpToEleven Taken to Eleven]]. The acting and fight choreography are so over-the-top that an entire planet is destroyed.

* ''Film/FaceOff'': Creator/JohnTravolta vs. Creator/NicolasCage. Even better, they are out-hamming each other while taking the other actor's mannerisms UpToEleven.

** The "Battle Of Wits" between Cary Elwes and Creator/WallaceShawn, however, ''definitely'' qualifies. Which is rather a bit of a subversion as well, because Cary Elwes subdues his part quite a bit while Wallace Shawn, [[UpToEleven well...]]

* Basically a recurring element in {{Soap Opera}}s. This can go UpToEleven with Latin American ''telenovelas'', and Filipino ''teleseryes'' which were influenced by the aforementioned telenovelas.
