* In the [[Creator/TheThreeStooges Three Stooges]] short film ''Back From The Front'', after the Stooges sign up with the Navy and take to the sea, the very next shot has Moe and Larry slung over the side, obviously with weak sea legs. Because the Stooges were yet to appear in color, when they turn to face the camera, their faces are given a layer of bright makeup to evoke discoloration in the face. Curly initially is managing pretty well, even snaking on some salami but he eventually succumbs as well.
