This farmer is likely to be equipped with a firearm, and is equally likely to threaten the trespasser in a (futile) attempt to scare it off. While usually PlayedForDrama, it can be PlayedForLaughs if the farmer is especially [[AssholeVictim unlikeable]] or [[TooDumbToLive foolhardy]].
